90 guests' feedbackManzini Chalets new, clean, tidy and contains everything needed to stay there. The pool is fantastically maintained. Mazinini Chalets are ideal and make it easy for family or a large circle of friends to have fun together.
We have in no. 6 stayed. It was beautifully redone and very spacious. We had everything we could need and we were opposite the pool which was great for the kids. Everything is clean and tidy and our vehicles were also safe. The Chalets are very well located on the main street, so you just walk to the shops. The air conditioning in the room was a big plus, especially at the coast. We will definitely go again.
The photos make the space look more spacious, this was not the case. There was no privacy to get changed so each person had to wait to go into the bathroom to do so (there were no curtains in our chalet, the windows were glazed). The double bed was very old and curved at the sides to the extent that two people could not sleep on it. The shower doesn't drain and therefore floods the entire chalet. There was no mop in the chalet so we had to purchase our own. The top bunk bed had broken slats which made it unsafe for my son to sleep there, therefore my daughter and son had to share the bottom bunk. The two bedside lamps' lights were broken and the bulbs were hanging by a wire (this is a safety hazard). The cupboard space was not ample for clothes or for food. For clothing, we were given one cupboard for 4 people. The aircon dripped (this is just above the plug set) which created a problem with our electric chargers. The hob of the oven was broken (we were advised on arrival) therefore they provided a two-plate stove as an interim fix. Surely they look at the condition of things before renting the place out. WIFI is advertised, this was not available. The pool was lovely and clean.
Lovely place to visit, pleasant people. The place is nice and tidy and safe. Would recommend that perhaps some attention be given to the kitchen facilities and maybe fix the freezer part of the fridge. There were noise makers who were luckily sorted out and evicted for which we were very grateful. We will visit again anytime.
Our stay at Manzini Chalets was a huge disappointment! We were booked for 6 nights. The unit is for 4 adults, but there are only 2 chairs. The stove never worked. We were provided with a 2-plate stove on the last day. We had to ask several times for towels which were finally given to us only on day 3. The roof fan only has a slow speed. The air conditioner works on fan only. The TV only works if you have an OpenView account - this was only signed up on the last day after we reported it to management several times. The plates, cutlery and glassware are assembled sets. Nothing matches anything. It is ideally located and within walking distance of the business centre. There is a beautiful swimming pool in the resort and the gardens are particularly beautiful! I believe that with the right management and maintenance it could be a loop court.
We were in Manzini no 8, the place was clean and just big enough for us, the aircon works well. There are some top TV channels for the kids if they just want to lie down after a long day. Apartment was cleaned every day. Shower only small but workable. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Just watch out for the monkeys, they stole our eggs when we were making breakfast on the porch one morning. Will definitely stay there again.
The couch in the room could do with improvement. Double bed mattress can be replaced. Number 39. The resort is very neat and clean. Will feel free to visit there again.
Disorganized! My original unit was double booked. We are put (after an hour) in a spare unit which is not at all clean or up to standard. Unacceptable service from Manzini Chalets.
We were still giving virtual training the first week of our stay and the owner was just so considered. He ensured that we had the best chalet to ensures we will have a strong WiFi signal. Moved furniture around. Ensure that we were not disturbed during a session. We are very grateful. Besides that, it is a beautiful clean and spacious apartment with a lovely view. They deserve more than 5 stars.
If they have WiFi for customers that would be great and better customer service from office, for that reason I would not recommend them to any people.
Everything one needs and safety is good.
But we had a challenge since the TV was not working and our bathroom light was not working, but they tried to fix it the following day. Just after we checked in the lady that gave us keys was nowhere to be found because we noticed early the things are not working. Otherwise everything else was okay, thank you.
I will always recommend Manzini, quiet, neat and clean, nice braai place also available.

Pool was nice clean and big. Accommodation has everything you need. Not five star, but then I didn't pay five star price either. Neat and clean and air conditioning worked well.
The apartments are advertised as satellite TV but it is the Openview decoder. We expected it to be DStv. The power was off for a full 24 hours as well which was not nice.
Although I'm a large man, I couldn't fit through the shower, which was on the narrow side but for the majority this won't be a problem. The two room room does not have a lot of privacy because one goes from the entrance from the porch through the first room to a larger room that shares a sleeping area with the kitchen, therefore limited with privacy and also a problem for late sleepers as a member of the family or circle of friends want a quick coffee and breakfast in the early morning. However, my problem with the shower and privacy between rooms was very soon resolved by the caretaker and agents and I could have used a better living area. Thank you very much for your care. Furthermore, you are very close to all shops that are within walking distance. Swimming pool is a very nice cooling area and private.
The holiday was very nice - a bit far from the beach, but nice.

We had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone. We basically just slept there because we were busy every day, but unit was neatly cleaned every day and very comfortable and cool in the heat. Thanks for the nice time Odette.
The unit was neat and clean and reception was friendly and helpful. The room was serviced on Saturday. Like last time we stayed there we had a great time at Manzini. However, the tap water was undrinkable and had a strange taste. According to the receptionist's explanation, this was due to the fact that the town's water reservoir had been cleaned shortly before and the chemicals used at that time had not yet been completely washed out. I recommend that visitors only buy drinking water.

Manzini Chalets is very centrally located for the town, the lake, etc. The facilities are adequate and definitely good value for money. We really enjoyed the time.

Although the place was neat, the maintenance did leave something to be desired. The stove and pots were both bulging and made cooking very difficult. The units are not serviced on Sundays, but there is also no dish soap left to wash the dishes yourself.

Manzini Chalets are fully equipped and comfortable for a family. All that was bad was that our air conditioner stopped working after the second day. The caretaker gave us 1 free night for the inconvenience, but at the time of departure the air conditioner was still not repaired. Swimming pool is a big plus and chalets very clean and tidy. There is a large swimming pool, secure parking and the apartment has a veranda with braai area. One large living area with kitchen next to the bed.
We stayed at Manzini Chalets for four nights in April. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything you need, the facilities and gardens are well maintained. Our fridge was out of order and the management and workers quickly sorted out the problem. It is located close to the lake shore and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. I will definitely stay here again.

The unit is quite small with the master bedroom and kitchen as one room. The double bed is right next to the freezer and fridge. The accommodation for the weekend was sufficient, but for longer than the weekend it is not going to work with two teenagers. Is indicated as such in the photos - but was still a surprise on arrival. There are other options available in St Lucia that I would much rather recommend.
Arrived at 2 pm to check-in, as stated, and there was no one there besides the caretaker/security who informed us that we had to pay the remaining balance in cash, as the offices were closed (for the busiest weekend of the year, they were closed - please note, even the Backpackers had staff in to assist guests, as I considered changing). The owner allowed me to make an EFT payment as I told her that no one informed me to bring the amount in cash. Not received a receipt or statement or confirmation of payment. The air-conditioning flap wasn't working, I had to make a plan to get it to circulate air. The gates stayed open, so cars are not secured. The amenities were cheap, no tea/coffee/sugar, and no dish-washing liquid (which is a requirement, even for self-catering), windows were filthy with some panels broken and toilet paper needed to be replaced. For the amount of money paid, I really was not happy with what we got, I genuinely feel swindled and cheated.
I'm going back next year for sure.

The place was easy to find and it's walking distance to the beach and stores.
There is no one to welcome you and show you around. The room we booked in had no hot water - the geyser not working and at this time when it's too hot, the aircon also wasn't working and also the TV. Finally we were changed into another room and that too the security had no airtime! We had to call the number the security gave. Other unit was okay. There was hot water and a small aircon in the kitchen. Not even a fan in the other room. And when we switched on the fan at high speed it was making noises. When my daughter went to sleep the bed was having broken parts and we were scared to make her sleep on that. So we had to get the bedding on to floor for her to sleep.

The place is clean. There is no WiFi and poor TV channels. Seemingly permanent residents in some units with pets roaming freely in other units. There are far more tourist-friendly destinations within walking distance at similar rates.

Pros: Location - we saw manatees grazing in the bushes behind the pool in the evening. It's also just far enough out of town to be nice and quiet. Unit itself (no. 4) was modernly equipped and we lacked nothing. Bed very comfortable etc. The pool area is very nice, as are the gardens. Cons: Privacy no wonder. The units are close to each other. The dividing wall between the units offers very little privacy for when you want to barbecue outside. If you are unlucky enough to have noisy neighbors, it can become very unpleasant. If you are unlucky to have people with children next to you, it is absolutely unbearable because the resort doesn't really offer much for children apart from the pool and because you don't want to be caught by a hippo in the woods at night! The size and layout of the units is actually absolutely perfect for a couple, I wouldn't recommend it for a family with kids - for the sake of the kids as well as all the other guests!
The place was beautiful, clean and spacious. There is plenty of sleeping space and it's walking distance from everything. We did struggle with our TV, but we were helped immediately after we helped it. There is DStv with limited channels. It was too cold to enjoy the pool, but I'm sure you can have fun there on a warm day. Unfortunately, the lake also has little water from the lack of rain. Will definitely go there again!

Fun filled time spent with the family. All enjoyed a day at Cape Vidal and cruise up the estuary to see hippos and crocodiles. The accommodation was all good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Would recommend Manzini chalets to anyone visiting St Lucia. Location is right on the water, walking distance to great places to eat. Reception is very friendly and helpful and has valuable information about the area and what visitors can do. There are security guards. Our unit was spacious, modern, clean. This is a great place to stay that is well looked after.

Manzini Chalets are good value for money, there is everything you need to make your stay comfortable and it is also very safe and very close to walk to eateries and shops, there are also carports for your vehicle! The new shower leaked some water on the floor but we reported it and I believe it will be fixed!

The chalets are large with a nice garden and swimming pool. Groomed daily and braai cleaned. Very quiet and peaceful and close to everything.
Chalets are well furnished, only an unforeseen cold front made us shiver and there was no extra blanket available.
