Each bedroom comprises a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with an extra large shower, toilet and vanity with hand-basin. For your convenience bathroom accessories are provided. Two of the bedrooms have their own bar fridge and microwave oven together with cutlery and crockery .
The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped and includes a four-plate electric stove with oven, a large double door fridge-freezer, microwave toaster and kettle. Amenities include complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk together with rusks.
The lounge and separate dining room lead onto a covered patio with braai facilities overlooking the waterhole where game such as kudu, impala, waterbuck, zebra, wildebeest, warthog, nyala and giraffe as well as numerous species of birds come to drink.
The Lodge also offers a spa beauty health and massage facility booking arrangements for restaurants, safaris and tours, and motor vehicle hire.

It's really value for money, very nice and peaceful, would stay there again anytime.
We asked the lady who received us if the braai was out of gas. She gave confirmation. It was not gas then. Fortunately, we could still drive to get charcoal. This is the only criticism. Furthermore, everything is very nice and clean.
Mawusi is very private and definitely value for money. The reception was very warm! We really enjoyed it and will definitely use them again in the future!
We initially planned to spend only a few days in Hoedspruit, but when I read about Mawusi Lodge the decision was easy and we stayed for 10 days. Rod and Cathy are perfect hosts and make sure everything is in order while Mogau keeps everything tidy. The kitchen is very well equipped and the air conditioning keeps the heat out. The peaceful surroundings banished all the ghosts of 2020, and between the nyala and warthogs at the waterhole and the cries of the hyena, a calmness washed over us. There is also a lot to do in the area and Rod can make recommendations and reservations for you. We can definitely recommend Mawusi Lodge.
We enjoyed our stay with my friends and wouldn't mind to recommend friends and family to Mawusi Bush lodge. The house is clean and it feels like home away from home. The owners are nice and welcoming. Actually they are from heaven. I wouldn't mind to visit again in future. Mawusi is the best of them all.

The accommodation is excellent, clean, neat, beautiful and well-equipped. The estate is fantastic, with smaller game species coming to greet you. We saw giraffes, buffalo, kudu, water buck, steenbuck and warthogs. Crowned hornbill visited us on the porch in the morning. It truly was a wonderful weekend full of wonderful experiences in a beautiful place. We will come back anytime.
The Bushbabies Elite Lodge is a highly recommended! Cathy is a fantastic hostess and Vivien we received is worth its weight in gold for the establishment. The accommodation is very well equipped and the neatest, cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in. Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate is a beautiful, secure extension with the convenience of town on your doorstep, but the tranquility of the most remote destination! I would recommend this affordable accommodation with confidence any time!

We stayed at The Bushbabies for 3 nights & 4 days and it was still too short! Even if we had complicated arrangements, it was no problem for them. We invited friends to join us for a braai, no problem. We asked for laundry services, no problem. We had a wonderful stay! I have never come across a guest house that is so neat and fully equipped together with service with a smile and from the heart. We have previously stayed in other Hoedspruit guesthouses, but we will never stay in another guest house whenever we go back to Hoedspruit again. Rodney, Cathy & Vivienne – thank you kindly for spoiling us! It is appreciated. Totally guest orientated!

Can really recommend Bushbabies. We only stayed for one night but we'll definitely be returning for a week or longer. Clean accommodation with friendly people. A luxurious little house in the bush!
It was really nice to stay at The Bushbabies. When you go on holiday you need to be able to rest and relax and that's exactly what we experienced. To stay there one experiences a small piece of the woodland paradise truly something special. Rodney and Cathy were really very friendly and made us feel right at home. I will definitely want to stay there again if we are in the area. I give them 5 star!
Was wonderful to be welcomed so warmly. Our accommodation was very neat and just perfect. Will recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the bushveld for a few days of peace and quiet.
It definitely deserves five stars. It is incredibly clean and you get the best quality of everything there. I would recommend the place to anyone who needs the tranquility of the woodland. You simply feel like life again after the break.

Accommodation is perfect for a family looking to take a self catering holiday but was also good for one person to use. Rooms are neat with spacious en-suite bathrooms. Kitchen is spacious with everything needed and the living area is equipped with a television, dining table, air conditioning and roof fan. The people are very friendly and accommodating.
