Melissa's Home Away From Home is well equipped with everything you need, beautiful decor that fits perfectly with a cottage by the sea. Everything was spotless and tidy and we immediately felt at home. Our hostess was in constant contact with us, and arrangements for access were given early and easy to understand. We will definitely come again!
With a distant view of the lagoon, a very quiet area, and close to town, I highly recommend Melissa's. Great place to relax and rejuvenate.

From the moment we arrived until leaving everything was fabulous. Communication from the owner regarding entry with keys was easy and spot on. The accommodation was excellent, even better than the photos. Huge kitchen space with masses of cupboards and worktop space. Every kitchen utensil you could need was included. Coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, iron etc. The lounge area was also large and extremely comfortable. Large tv with full premium DStv and an inverter for the TV/Wi-Fi during loadshedding. Also, a fabulous uplight which also worked during loadshedding and lit up the whole lounge area. Lovely sunny undercover sitting area separate from the lounge. 2 Very comfortable bedrooms-super comfy beds and 2 ensuites with good powerful showers. Safe off-road parking under shade. All in all, so enjoyed our stay in this excellent home- it really is a home from home and would have been happy to stay much longer. Such good value for money and is one of the best houses we have holidayed in.
The first place with a full DStv package, it's super clean and tidy and you feel at home there.
From the booking to arrival, accommodation and departure, everything was so well organized. We received a message from Tina via whatsapp the day before with all the details. Keys were ready, house TV on and windows open, a nice welcome! The house is very well equipped with everything you need and more, especially the kitchen! Super neat and clean. Couldn't ask for better. Thank you very much Tina for the nice stay! One can see that a lot of planning went into making the house a ''home away from home''.

There was really everything one needs and more, can only pack your clothes. There was even a coloring book and spices for sister and a baby bath for brother. The accommodation is well fenced and enough space for children to play or ride a bike. We had a nice barbecue and watched rugby, and made delicious food in the fully equipped kitchen. Recommend it to any and all!
The house is modern and very spacious for a 2 bedroom home, specially the lounge and kitchen area. Fireplace inside is great for the chilly winter nights, beds are comfy too. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

This really is a home away from home, very homely and welcoming. The aura about the place just warms your heart at first sight, Tina and Andre were the ultimate hosts very attentive and kind, we have decided to go back very soon as we did not thoroughly get to enjoy it because of being busy. The view from the top is spectacular.
Everything I needed, beautiful and modern. Really appreciated the electric blanket for colder nights with the transition to winter. Safe area and located close enough to restaurants and shops. Definitely saving the name in my diary to revisit in the future.

We thought it was going to be an apartment underneath the house, but we had the whole two bedroom house to ourselves. It was very well fitted out and everything had been supplied. It was all extremely clean. The hostess was very helpful and thought about what we might need when there was load shedding. There was undercover parking inside an electronic gate. There was also a distant view of Langebaan lagoon and the sunsets were amazing. The area itself is beautiful and we could walk in the flowers and cycle in the reserve.
