Our stay was lovely. We were welcomed with open arms. It's so relaxing there, wish we stayed for longer.
Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and we could not have wished for better. We were very close to all the amenities, and most places were in walking distance. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

We were unfortunately only there for 2 nights, but the stay was wonderful. Jen and her husband are such charming, friendly, and helpful hosts. We had no hesitation in knocking on their door to ask for some salt! The bedding and bed were absolutely delightful; we slept so comfortably. The unit has everything you might need, including tea, coffee, and rusks, and a few touches that make you feel like you're at home (ear buds and cotton wool, anyone?). We took our 3-month-old Boerboel pup with us, and she enjoyed her stay as much as we did! Jen's 2 foxies made her feel very welcome! The location is amazing - very centrally situated with everything within a 1 km radius. We'll definitely be back to stay again.
We cannot fault this stay in any way, everything was just perfect. So much so, that we are planning a revisit but this time we will stay longer and bring some friends to stay in the other cottage!
Very comfortable bed and great pillows.
This is not a self-catering unit. It just has a microwave oven for heating. So no bacon and eggs in the morning, just coffee and a rusk. So all meals need to be taken at restaurants. Not suitable for pensioners and the elderly as there is an outside wooden staircase to negotiate and haul your items up and down. The bedding including the pillows is heavy - firm mattress and light pillows are essential. The bathroom area is damp and towels won't dry if left there after use. Could be more user-friendly with small essential changes. Parking is onsite but the property is easily accessible to strangers. Host was very accommodating.
Bathroom in unit with stairs up is very narrow and small. Parking of both units on the same side and if owner parks outside garage, it is difficult to drive out. Was very hot, an umbrella on the porch can help for coolness.

Just a minor observation: They advertise two rooms, but does not tell one that one of the rooms is not on ground level and the owners themselves admit that the stairs were not well constructed. People north of 60 years old prefer ground-level rooms or proper and safe stairways. This is nothing serious, but travellers should be given a choice of rooms ie. first come first served.
We spent a lovely few days with them in July. My husband was able to work online undisturbed despite Eskom's phase 4 - 6 power outages. The smell of the thatched roof is wonderful and nothing is missing in this place. The garden is beautiful and the dogs loving. The birdlife and monkeys in the trees were a treat. It's a few steps from the local golf course and we could walk to the sea. Thank you Bianca and Jen. You are excellent. Oh, yes. The bed sleeps great and the biscuit forward.
The people were lovely, friendly and so helpful! A cosy room, gorgeously decorated with everything one needs. Close to the shops as well. Neat and clean.

Jen and Charles were so kind! Milkwood Way's unit was so clean and tidy, I would definitely recommend them! There is a gas barbecue, full DStv and much more! All bedding, equipment and articles are of the best quality! I will definitely visit again!

I booked here for my parents to sleep over on a 7-week cross-country bike tour. It was a particularly hot day and the Jens decided to wait for them outside the town with ice water and to show the way - what wonderful hospitality!
