It was a beautiful guest house that felt very homely yet luxurious. Service was very friendly.
Really great location. Quiet, but one block away from the strip. All restaurants etc. right on the doorstep. Loadshedding bad, but they cruised past it and staff made everything happen. Only worry was parking. Wanted to use an open car or motorcycle. Website said secure parking, but threat of rain made us take a closed car. No secure parking as advertised. Street parking and parking on pavement at back of location but no secure parking. If we had taken an open car or motorcycle we would have cancelled when we got there and found another place to stay.
Mont d'Or carried me on its hands. All expectations were exceeded. Service, help, knowledge of the area was valuable and everyone was always willing to help. I would love to stay at Mont d'Or again.
We liked the reception, the room and the peaceful atmosphere. We can recommend it anytime. We felt it was value for our money. Thank you very much.

Well worth a stay at Mont d'Or. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it with lovely croissants. The room was spacious and clean, with a good size bed with firm mattress. Safe parking and lovely garden, patio and pool area. Will definitely stay again.

What are warm, friendly, tranquil place. The service is excellent. We unfortunately left early on Sunday and the the hostess even arranged a breakfast on the go for us. They really went the extra mile to give us top class service. Will surely revisit Mont d'Or. Thank you for your hospitality we will always remember our 26th anniversary at such a splendid place.
Nice clean accommodation. Rooms spacious. TV has Kyknet and sports channels. Breakfast was a variety of cold and hot dishes and neatly served. Would recommend it. Very well located and quiet.
We enjoyed a lovely 2 days here. Even though the guest house is in the town, the surroundings are quiet and peaceful.
Clean! Tidy! Perfect location in the center of town. The little extras make it extra special and a place I will return to again and again. The filter coffee and biscuits in each room was a surprise and makes you feel special and cherished as a guest. Definitely helps for Transvalers who are not afraid to get up early. This is an exceptional guest house with friendly staff and excellent service.
With an amazing view, friendly staff and a central location, our stay at Mont d'Or was the best part of our weekend in Franschhoek.
We loved the little spoils we received during our short stay: Nespresso coffees, freshly baked cake, glass of wine and an awesome breakfast.

The hospitality from the time you get there to saying goodbye was amazing. All the rooms were super clean and tidy. Mattresses, pillows and bedding were of excellent quality. Breakfast was delicious, peaceful and juicy. We would easily want to go back again as a group.
The stay at Mont d'Or was very comfortable and the location was such that you could walk wherever you wanted to be in town. The room is well furnished with everything you need and the breakfast is of high quality. Thanks to their winter offer it was better value for money than it would have been otherwise.

Friendly welcome. Walking distance from all the restaurants. Delicious, big breakfast! Definitely recommended for weekend stays or longer. Excellent location and helpful staff.
