My son and his wife were on their honeymoon and said the breakfast was delicious.
Montagu Manor is a unique little guest house, at the moment only one room for guests. There has been a lot of effort put into the interior decoration, which gives you a nostalgic feeling of old times. Breakfast is being served in the family's dining room. This was the best breakfast we had so far in our three weeks in South Africa, perfect down to the smallest detail (vintage record player playing old vinyl, different cutlery, tablecloths, and china every morning). Top class.
"Old World Charm". Wikkie and Elaine warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home. We were spoiled with a delicious breakfast made from the most beautiful old-fashioned cutlery. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you!

The place is beautiful and so much effort has been put into every lovely detail. They are so hospitable and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend them and stay there again.
This stay in the Victorian house was a wonderful experience. The owner Wikkie and his wife Elaine are very hospitable. They spoiled us with delicious English breakfast while we were treated to "golden oldies" music on record player, all to add more to the Victorian era experience. The accommodation is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Will definitely want to visit here again!
When we arrived our host Wikkies was busy painting. He is busy restoring the grand old house to its former glory. Our room was en suite with its own access. It was beautifully restored and immaculate. The price included breakfast. We will certainly return to them if we are going to stay over again in Montagu.
This bed and breakfast has a lot of vintage character as well as modern facilities. I always felt safe and the manager Wikkie was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.
