47 guests' feedbackI stayed here on a business trip, working for two days in Stellenbosch. Out early and back late, I didn't get to spend much time here, but I appreciated the clean, spacious apartment and big bedroom to really spread out. I especially appreciated that the fresh milk in the fridge was refilled from one day to the next so that I could enjoy a cup of tea after a long day out and in the morning. Plenty of parking space, which was also great for my long bakkie. I was working in Stellenbosch, and the commute was quick and convenient at less than 20 minutes.
It has everything you need on a business trip. I spent the night very well and returned to George early the next morning.

We only stayed for one night. Everything was clean and tidy. Beds slept well. Would definitely recommend Mooring House.
We had a wonderful stay. The unit was clean, comfortable, well equipped, with extremely friendly and helpful staff led by Gary. Thank you very much! I would just highly recommend that each bed have another sheet - not just a fitted sheet and duvet. If the duvet is too warm, it is very unpleasant to just sleep under the blanket. We will definitely be back again.
Garry was a friendly and responsive host. The unit was clean and perfect for our needs. The garden is beautiful, and a lovely spot to relax. It is centrally located and easy to get to.
Beautiful garden and spacious rooms. Loadshedding readiness can be improved upon, eg. Better backup lighting, especially in bathrooms (or portable lights). A gas kettle would be useful.

It was an absolute feast to stay there! The garden is beautiful over! The owner was so friendly and helped us carry our bags, as well as prepared a delicious breakfast for us at a very reasonable price! Would recommend it for sure. There is also a swimming pool and braai and more than one common social area.

We stayed in the family room, as we were three travelers. The room was quite tidy, but there are small details that require attention (e.g. the bathroom's small bin was not emptied from the previous guests' visit). The shower in the room with the two double beds does not provide hot water when the cold tap is turned on. The family room can also be renovated with a more modern theme like the other rooms in the guest house. We did have a nice stay and this guest house is well located.

Garry was a very welcoming and helpful host. We had a unit with 2 bedrooms en-suite, ideal as we were 2 couples travelling together. Breakfast was full-on with cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cooked dish and toast. We would go back to the Mooring, especially handy for the airport.

This is a self-catering unit - nothing more. It is equipped with the minimum and therefore one does not really get value for money, but one accepts that it is self-catering and therefore cannot dispose of the extras and personal touches.

It is easily accessible, close to the Mall. Is really neat for a reasonable price. Can only think of air conditioning and DStv in all the rooms. With temperatures above 40'C a fan was not sufficient.
