Mosterts Hoek is a working farm where mixed farming is practiced with fruit and livestock. The farm boasts an abundance of fynbos and indigenous wildlife on your doorstep, including tortoises, previously spotted leopard, many birds, baboons and a game camp.
The self-catering farmhouse can accommodate up to 8 guests, and contains 4 bedrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first, second and third bedrooms each contain a double bed. The fourth bedroom contains 2 single beds.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge, stove, microwave, a washing machine and a dishwasher. The cosy living area contains an indoor fireplace. Outside, there is a braai area, and a wonderful swimming pool. The swimming pool is available for all guests to use at all times of the year; there is nothing handier in the hot summer months than a chilled pool, with a beautiful mountain view. A wireless internet connection is available.

11 guests' feedbackWe had a wonderful stay on the farm. Very scenic and relaxing. The pool area was a highlight, as were our evening walks on the farm. The house was comfortable and had everything and much more than we needed. The host was super accommodating and generous. Easy check-in and check-out. 10/10.
This house was the perfect getaway. The house was clean and tidy with everything you need to have a nice stay. The aircon and the dishwasher were a very big bonus. We had a great time hanging out, swimming and barbecuing. The pool is incredibly nice. The water was just perfect and you could spend the whole day in the pool. We could also take our dog with us and she really enjoyed the farm life and the space. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The scenery is beautiful. We felt very safe and the house is so nice and spacious. The indoor grill was absolutely a bonus. Everything was very nice clean and tidy, the house is nice and private. Ideal for a nice family holiday.
The people are very nice and happy to help. The location is excellent and very beautiful. Perfect for a nice break. Accommodation was exactly what we wanted.
Our stay was very nice at Mosterts Hoek. Noelette received us very kindly and quickly explained everything. After that she was only visible when we needed something, exactly the way I want it. The house was very comfortable and had everything you need. It was a very cold weekend, but there was plenty of braai wood and blankets. The surroundings are beautiful, even if we couldn't explore much because of the weather. Thanks Noelette, will definitely come again.
We had a lovely stay on the farm, very neat and comfortable cottage, lovely views of the mountains. Our kids loved the dogs and swimming and there is a jungle gym in the shade of the oak trees which was also enjoyed.
Voorwaar 'n plesier en 'n pragtige plek wat mens onmiddellik laat tuis voel. Ons het heerlik gekuier, baie gerus en die vars lug en pragtige natuurskoon is onbeskryflik mooi. Baie beslis 'n vakansiebestemming vir enige iemand wat net weer mens wil word en beslis 'n plek wat ons weer sal besoek. Dierbare gasheer en gasvrou en 'n groot verwelkoming deur die honde - must love dogs!
We enjoyed our stay at Mosterts Hoek, will definitely come back and visit again.
We were a big group of friends who stayed at Mosterts Hoek for a weekend. The owners were very willing to help and arranged everything for the extra person that was with us. When we arrived the fire was already lit and a bottle of wine was in the fridge! They also provided milk, ice, and rusks. We felt very spoiled. Die house has enough space for a big group of people, the dishwasher was a winner, as well as the DStv for the rugby. The kitchen had everything we would've ever needed. The electric blankets on the beds were a nice treat. Mosters Hoek is a winner and we'll definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful weekend on a lovely farm.

House rules
All activities on farm and use of swimming pool is at own risk. We accept no responsibility for any injuries or accidents while on our premises.
We welcome children on the farm. Please watch children at all times. No children under 12 allowed in the communal swimming pool area without supervision.
?In the event of damage to our property, we reserve the right to charge to replace, repair or professionally clean the item concerned.
As you know this is a working farm, guests are not allowed to pick the fruit from the trees.
We want everyone to have the best time while visiting the farm, but please be considerate with music and noise levels after 23h00.
Laundry can be done by arrangement.
1 crate of firewood will be provided. Further wood to be purchased at extra cost.
No smoking allowed in the house. Please discard cigarettes in the ashtrays provided - it is a fire hazard and will pollute our beautiful farm.
It is requested for your own security, that valuables and firearms be left at reception for safekeeping, however all items of a valuable nature, are brought onto Mosterts Hoek Guest House premises at their owner's risk.
