There is 1 double sleeper couch in the lounge. All rooms include air-conditioning. The unit is not serviced daily and is rented as self-catering.
There is an indoor cooking area with an oven, hob and indoor braai as well as an outdoor cooking area. Within a small, fenced-off area in front of the house are a splash pool and a waterhole within view of the braai area. Please note we have a small flat-screen TV with full DSTV and Wi-Fi.
A small solar system has been installed to alleviate the discomfort of loadshedding. Kindly note the stove and air conditioners are not connected to the system. Ceiling fans have been installed that can be used together with the lights.
This property is bordered by Parkland, in between the river and Lionspruit Reserve to hear the hippos and fish eagles from the river and the lions from Lionspruit reserve!

Wow! What a cute little place! We have stayed at many places, but this place stole our hearts! Safe with a lovely pool. Thank you very much for allowing us to call your place our home during our short vacation. The solar also makes everything better! Delicious fast hot geyser and everything else one needs! The aircons in every room are also a big winner! Great great great! We will stay here again!
Stay was ok, good shower pressure but small space, comfortable beds, free WiFi and assistance with load shedding, outside shower unusable due to foliage.

Had a great weekend! We had fun in the pool and barbecued, and watched the animals that came to visit. It's private, quiet and safe. Carrying capacity was not a problem at all and the air conditioner was a winner in the heat. Enjoyed the outdoor shower too. We see you again.

Lovely stay with everything needed and more. Very neat, clean and safe. Help available with any queries or problems, promptly resolved. Air conditioning a big plus. Very hot on arrival, 39 degrees. Just one note, winter bedding on the beds.
This was our third visit and again very pleasant to stay there. The solars were a bonus during load shedding. It had a good face lift since our last visit which only made it more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to visitors looking for a safe and peaceful place to stay.

We and especially the grandchildren really enjoyed the pool. Nice and safe place with all the facilities one could want and especially with the load shedding the solar helped a lot.
The facilities are sufficient with many plus points at a good price. The air conditioning in the bedrooms is fantastic in the hot summer evenings. The solar facilities to keep some lights and fans on are a definite asset to My Bushhouse. The patio area that is covered with mesh is a very nice area for hanging out. The full DStv to maybe watch the weekend's rugby and keep the small team busy is very convenient. Recommendations would be to make equipment available to be able to clean braai pits and create coals. Maybe a shovel and metal shovel to clear the area for the next day's barbecue will help. The cleanliness of the outdoor area can be improved. Many months of dry leaves lie everywhere and the garden has had little attention. Other than that, My Bushhouse will definitely see us again!
It's not a very big house so don't be more than 4 persons. Have a very nice visit stoep with braai and with oven facilities on the stoep. Porch is covered with bars and mesh to keep out unwanted things. The 1 shower can be a problem if there are more than 4 persons. The pool was also a nice escape in the hot weather. The double bed could be just a bit bigger as I think the bed is smaller than a double bed.
We had a wonderful stay, everything was spotless. The swimming pool was a wonderful escape in the heat. The enclosed porch with its wire mesh makes it possible to hang out until late without the bugs eating you. Many animals came to visit. We really enjoyed the few days and would love to stay at My Bushhouse again. Thank you Martie for your kindness.

We enjoyed our stay at My Bushhouse (Bayt AlGhaba). The house is clean and the braai area is convenient with the basin and stove next to the braai. The pool and animals kept my son entertained without the need to watch TV. I would highly recommend My Bushhouse to any friend or stranger. It was awesome, thank you Martie for the use of your home.
We went for a lovely walk, even to the Amazing Kruger View Restaurant. The house is neat and clean. Location is very good. And saw many animals near the house.

Nice patio, nice outdoor hangout. 6 people? Only 1 double sofa in living room! And that's it. Place needs serious attention. No protection for your car against nature.

What a wonderful house, we have been traveling to Marloth Park for quite some time now and we like to stay in different houses and locations. Bayt AlGhaba is for sure one of our favorites, we will definitely be going back. The layout of the house is awesome, fully equipped with everything you'll need, we couldn't have asked for more. Thanks Martie for making us feel so welcome.
The place really surprised us and was a lot more than expected from a forest house. The oven on the stoep next to the braai was fantastic, because while the fire was being lit I could get the side dishes ready there too without having to be on one side in the kitchen. It makes family gatherings so much more fun!
Comfortable, fully equipped house, in the middle of nature. It was so peaceful and quiet. The wild animals came to say hello every day. What a lovely way to rest and then take on life again.
The house is located in such a way that it feels like you are alone in nature all the time. Several goats visited there daily. The fact that the stoep is equipped with a stove and braai makes it very cozy. Everyone can hang out together. Only the stairs can be a problem for older people or those with difficulty walking. The inside is very neat and well equipped. From the outside it looks old but when you go through the wooden gate it is just a pleasure. We had a very nice stay.

My Bushhouse is ideally located - walking distance to the Crocodile River with easy access where no 4x4 vehicle is required. The facilities are sufficient.

We as a family were there with my 2 small boys. It was really very nice and will go back to the cottage every time. We really enjoyed it there.

It is a cozy, affordable place in the forest where warthogs and ibex came to visit us. The house has everything you need to just relax. The arrangements to get the keys went smoothly. Would love to go again, because it is now also "our" little forest house.

The house was absolutely awesome. The outdoor/indoor cooking/visiting area is well set up and there is hardly any need to be inside the house. House and all surroundings were clean and well kept. Swimming pool is full and was fully functional which is not always the case when accommodations are listed with a 'splash pool". Loads of animals had come to visit us at the house. Warthogs, impala and kudu were in abundance. Giraffe also made guest appearances on 2 occasions. Bush babies and civets were also seen at night time. I will most certainly make use of "My Bushhouse" in the future.
The house itself is neat and meets one's basic needs. But the screen window frames are all loose, and falling out. The master bedroom's light switch is faulty. There are no bedside lamps in the master bedroom, which makes it very impractical. The kitchen utensils are not complete, tons of knives, but not enough tablespoons or teaspoons. When we arrived the garden tools were just left in the middle of nowhere, we had to move them out of the way ourselves. The garden hose was still in the pool, had to move it to get in and out of the house comfortably, so that the children don't fall over it.
All amenities as well as DStv. Nice porch with indoor barbecue. Splash pool. AC in rooms and living area. Lots of wildlife around the house. Please feed them. Dry and animals are hungry. Afternoons galore. Close to Kruger for day trips.
The house is very well equipped with everything you need for a few days' stay. We drove to the Kruger every day and the distance was no problem. The swimming pool after a warm day in the Kruger was a bonus.
What a wonderful home with all the luxuries and even more to offer! Definitely felt at peace there and enjoyed every moment with lots of animals coming up to the fence and giraffes sleeping at night not even 5 meters away from the house. The swimming pool is an extra bonus and lovely cool down on the extra hot summer days. This has become our home away from home in Marloth and we will definitely be booking there from now on.
The house is spacious, has everything you need and much more. No canopy as advertised. There was a heavy thunderstorm during our stay and we were so worried that it would hail and damage the vehicle. It rained and sounded like hail. We really recommend him and would definitely like to stay in him again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bayt AlGhaba. The place is very well furnished and very beautiful. The stoep part was our dream and we spent hours walking around there. It was for sure the best choice we made. I would recommend it to anyone, on the contrary, I have already recommended it to a few people. The pool was a great treat and the animals at the watering hole were awesome. Your question was whether I would be able to recommend it and although there is only Yes or No, I would say very definitely. It's value for money. The place is very well furnished and everything you need is there. Man, we just really enjoyed it and can't stop talking about the place. Martie, the owner, personally called us from Qatar (Middle East) the next day to make sure we were safe there and that everything was in order. It was extremely dear of her to me, the personal contact meant a lot.

We were pleasantly surprised with the nice place! We were 4 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 10. Everything was clean and tidy, linen and towels were fresh. We enjoyed the few days on the veranda and around the pool. The bush babies visited us regularly. Game was a bit scarce. But luckily a visitor every day. There was just something missing here and there, such as a braai and extra chairs on the veranda. But nothing without which we couldn't get along. The pool was a welcome treat in the heat! We will go again for sure!

We had a great time relaxing, the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city was wonderful. The stoep is a place you never want to leave, you can sit there all day and relax. We had some animals come to visit, saw monkeys, wild pigs, goats and even a kudu family and of course beautiful birds. We would definitely recommend My Bushhouse to people.
My Bushhouse (Bayt AlGhaba) is value for money for sure. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching the children swim in the splash pool. The covered braai and food place is very conveniently arranged and is a bonus for when it rains. I felt very at home with the soft linen on the beds. We also had many visitors, night monkeys, turtles, warthogs, zebras etc. It's not too far from the main road and is easy to find. For sure a nice place to enjoy time with family and friends.
My family and I really liked the place, it was comfortable and very safe. We plan to come again in the year, if the house will be available we will use the house again.

It is a very practical place with indoor and outdoor barbecue, nice porch closed with mesh wire and mesh for mosquitoes, very nice splash pool. The night monkeys and forest night monkeys' visits in the evening were an experience and there are many birds.

We had a great stay, but still feel that the maintenance of the house has been left behind. The one couch's back is e.g. no longer stuck. We also thank the owner who arranged for the full DStv to be available.
A beautiful house with everything you need. The bedroom with the double bed is very cramped, but luckily guests only sleep there. We were mostly outside or on the patio.
The house was within our needs and everything we wanted was there, it made the stay nice and made us LekkeSlaap! However, the one toilet leaked which made it a bit inconvenient and the one towel rail was broken. Other than that, we can't complain.
Loved it and can't wait to visit again. Perfect accommodation, not luxurious but extremely homely and comfortable with everything one needs for a laid back relaxing holiday. Debbie (the caretaker) was exceptionally helpful and any problems dealt with immediately. The outside area is just lovely and the splash pool fantastic. Having visited Marloth several times Bayt AlGhaba rates among one of the best we've had.

It was so nice to be in the Bosveld. Right across the river we saw 5 lions that came to drink water. In Marloth itself the animals were plentiful: the zebras, kudus, warthogs, impalas and ostriches moving between the house was a bonus point.
We had a lovely week. Many animals came to visit us and we even saw a night owl one night. We had a great stay and were thankful for the air conditioner in the house because it was very hot. We will definitely go again!
Absolutely fantastic. We will definitely see the house again. Everything is just very right. The house is well equipped and one feels extremely safe. The little garden is neat and the swimming pool spotless. There is a lot of action from the animals that come to drink at the water hole and the night monkeys kept us busy in the early evening. Lions are clearly audible. Just remember that purchasing power is used.

Great variety of wildlife and vegetation - close to wildlife park and other attractions.
This is a must for every person. You have no disturbances, traffic or noise. It is nice to recharge our batteries in the quiet and peaceful environment.
