The first bedroom contains a double bed and a double sleeper couch. The second bedroom contains a double bed, the third bedroom contains a double bunk bed, and the fourth bedroom contains a single bed and a three-quarter bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery, and a dining table and benches. There is an additional round 4-seater dining table and chairs. The cosy lounge features a fireplace. Outside, there is a built-in braai area, and braai grids, a potjie pot and utensils are provided. There is an enclosed area for children to play in.

18 guests' feedbackThe owner is doing repairs to the bathroom, but we still had a great time. They installed a new jacuzzi and an enclosed braai area which was really a hit because we had a lot of wind the first 3 days. It was our place to talk and hang out. The house is wonderfully spacious with a large sitting and kitchen area.
It is located in a perfect location.
It was fantastic and felt very safe, would recommend to friends anytime. Wish we could stay longer. House was very neat.
We really enjoyed the stay and the house is very well situated close to the lake and the beach.
We were blessed with the accommodation as we wanted to stay out of the busy places. It met our expectations.

Die huis was met die aankoms netjies en skoon. Die kombuis was toegerus met alles wat nodig was. Die oop plan het 'n lekker gesellige gevoel gegee. Die kamers was ruim en pragtig versier. Tuis weg van die huis af.
I really enjoyed my stay with my friends. We would like to go again sometime. There wasn't any troubles. Nice, peaceful neighbourhood. Beautiful comfortable house inside and out.

Die diens wat ek gekry het was baie goed vriendelike personeel die huis was netjies. Was beslis 'n goeie keuse en sal weer teruggaan.
We rented the accommodation for occupation by 7 people, however, only 2 couches seating 5 present, no chairs for the braai area. No inventory list available, important for checking of materials present: cutlery, glasses, plates, kitchen stuff etc. We found no teapot. The following things were out of order: lights in master bedroom (we changed a lamp from cutlery; left lamp-cover on top of cupboard), alarm system: activated for the night according to instructions, but alarm starts loud and immediately! Bedding included fitted sheets, pillow cases, a duvet (poor material: polyester!) only, no flat sheets. Mattresses were fine.
My Hiding Place Self-catering Accommodation was exactly what we were looking for and more! For our group of 8 adults, the house is actually a home and not just an ordinary accommodation. The home has literally everything you need. From a potjie and braai utensils, to linen (available on request). A 2-night stay is simply not enough. A massive thank you to owner Heidi for being amazing, and to Stephanie for an awesome welcome. I would highly recommend My Hiding Place.

We had an amazing time. It was peaceful and relaxing. I definitely recommend it to others, you guys won't regret it. The owner Heidi is also very friendly and made us feel welcome. I'll be going there again.
I'll recommend My Hiding Place to families or small groups. It's absolutely value for money and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. The place is neat and has all the facilities you need. Don't have to bring anything.
