There was no wifi, the TV was small, the channels was basic. This place is ok for elderly couple or people passing through and need to sleep over for a night, not for parents with teenages or toddlers.

Owners were extremely helpful and assisted during load shedding.
They are located close to the beach as well as close to a very nice restaurant. We could walk to the restaurant in the late afternoon, eat something and then directly to the beach to watch the stars in peace. After that it was a 5 min walk back to Myoli Beach Lodge. Perfectly located and very safe.
There is everything one needs. We were received kindly and extra effort and care was noticeable. Thank you for the barbecue which was specially provided on request. We had a wonderful stay, close to the sea and beach - fantastic location!

We fell asleep every night to the sound of the surf in our ears. Safe swimming and surf fishing. The flatlet needs a lot of improvement and dampered our stay somewhat, seeing it offers 3-star accommodation we had a 1-star experience. I feel the rooms could be cleaner and more maintenance done. Other than that it was a good experience and we enjoyed the beach.

Any person who just wants to live peacefully and it is close to so many attractions that within a radius of 60 km you can visit beautiful places for days on end. Affordable and clean on all routes.

Myoli Beach's location is excellent - the beach is just across the road and there is access to the beach just a short distance from the chalets. There is a very pleasant restaurant with a small deli within walking distance. The chalets have everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The hostess and host go to great lengths to make guests feel at home - on Christmas Day and New Year's Day we were treated to cupcakes and sparkling wine!

Although Myoli Lodge offers relatively cheap accommodation, the facilities are not that good. Ventilation in the bathroom is a problem. Felt unsafe and cold.

Nice peaceful atmosphere and location, beautiful beaches, very clean facilities and very well furnished.
Myoli's units overlooking the sea must have been an experience but we didn't know and booked a number which is behind the dune in a very hot environment. Because it is difficult to walk to the beach one cannot do it often, especially as older people, not that it is so far but the sand dune across the street makes it extremely difficult to get to the beach and back . If you can't see the sea and can't easily walk to it either (driving is also not a possibility because you can't drive over the sand dune with a normal car), it doesn't feel like a seaside holiday . We literally had to drive to other beaches like Victoria Bay if we wanted to be by the sea. The many stairs of all the double units (all are double storeys) as well as the beach's inadequacy make it not the designated place for older people. Myoli should advertise that the units are built on different levels and mention that the beach is not that adequate for the elderly or the disabled themselves. Furthermore, we give the owners credit for their kindness and helpfulness. Thank you Ronel and Andre!
There is nothing quite like waking up in the morning with birds singing around you and no traffic noise bothering you. Although the weather didn't quite cooperate, you could just walk to the front of the main house if you wanted to see the sea.
Comfortable place to stay near nice restaurant and beach.
For teenagers this is a no no. No WiFi in unit we were home. A small TV screen and cheapest package EasyView was available, nature is sure what matters.
We slept there on Saturday night, although everything was ready, even though we checked in earlier than we said we would. Neat, clean and perfect for our 1 night adventure.
The outdoor lights are quite a problem, would be good if the room has its own switch.
The environment there is very beautiful and peaceful. Other beaches are nearby and so the area is explored. We will visit the Southern Cape again.

I would stay and visit Sedgefield again anytime. The accommodation was very nice and the owners were very friendly and helpful. When we wanted to braai, wood was packed for us and provided with grills and braai bowls. I would recommend them if anyone ever wants to spend an evening, weekend or holiday in Sedgefield.

We immediately felt at home upon check-in. The unit (chalet 3) was clean and well equipped. The location is absolutely phenomenal. The beach is only a stone's throw away, attractions are within easy reach, as well as shops. I personally hope no shops will spring up in the immediate vicinity. Would like to see perhaps more privacy being created on the balcony between the two chalets in the future, perhaps something of a removable nature if the unit is rented out as a whole. This caused us no discomfort at all as we had wonderful neighbours. I'll go back any day!
The buffalo room has everything you need for two people for a wonderful holiday. Bonus: it's serviced! It's safe, by the sea, restaurants, town and all attractions, fishing, Saturday market. Near Knysna, Wilderness, George. Recommend it with confidence.

It was quite pleasant with the tranquility of the area. The slightly cold weather kept us indoors. We explored the town of Sedgefield but didn't go to the beach at all. The lodge is situated quite near the beach though.

Outside braai is largely advertised but the fine print just reads charcoal - misleading. We could only check in at 16:00 - a bit late. From the photo with the sea to the "sea view not guaranteed" to "no chalet has a sea view" is unnecessarily confusing. At the normal price the TV sets should be improved (even though we never used it). That was the only bothersome thing though. The staff were friendly and helpful, the security good and effective. Lots of stairs at chalets at the back so maybe not suitable for very small children or older people. Not for noisy parties. To get away from the rush and really relax in a safe area, Myoli can be recommended.

This was our second year in a row holiday spent at Myoli Beach. We came back because the first time was just not enough! What I enjoyed most at the lodge was my privacy. We were with friends, yet on our own, as the accommodation is structured in such a way that you have the space you need whilst still having people around.

The lodge has a great location near the beach and close to the lagoon. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite, which was perfect for our perfect honeymoon. The unit was well equipped and very spacious. Excellent value for money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Myoli Beach Lodge (except there was an ant problem in the kitchen area). We couldn't put any food in the cupboards or bread in the breadtin. I will definitely make use of them again.
