We loved everything about the place. The owners and staff were very friendly. All utensils and utilities were working normally, including the hot shower. They should ensure that all utilities they expect to see upon checking out are the same as the ones they provide in the units prior to check-in, such as the total number of towels. Otherwise, we will use them again.
Upon arrival we were kindly received and informed of load shedding times. The unit was spacious, very private and spotless. There was everything we needed and more. Safe parking, good security, excellent value for money. If we have to spend the night in Garsfontein again, we will definitely stay at the guest house again! Thank you very much!

It was really unpleasant to arrive after a long day of driving to an unfriendly host. She greeted us with a question to please have an ID. We had to fill in a whole form of personal details, personal home address, extra contact person and relation. Please also note that the picture online of the undercover parking is not for guests, it can be misleading as it is a picture, but it is actually a private undercover parking for the host, not for guests.
We got to it after 8 in the evening and they were waiting for us to give the key. Our hostess was so helpful by picking up our food that we ordered for the evening herself. Thank you very much for that. Excellent service.
It really was a home away from home. Conveniently situated with all amenities close by - most within walking distance. Yvonne was extremely helpful at all times. We would certainly return on our next trip.

Double bed in master bedroom's mattress is up, springs make noise all night if someone turns, bedroom door doesn't close properly, "latch" not tight, so it bangs all night. Shower short instruction and we could not get the water hot. Tiles in kitchen are almost all cracked and loose.

Was cute apartment. Ceiling fan old and noisy in one room. Shows it's Afrikaans but every time had to make arrangements with someone in English who doesn't understand Afrikaans? Had to try all the keys myself, no instructions for all the locks.

We just popped in to sleep, so it was fine for our needs. Kitchen is a bit cramped, so you won't be able to hang around during the day. The only problem I had was the light of the alarm in the bedroom that kept me up the entire night. Very frustrating - every time you stir in bed a very bright red light appears. Why wasn't the light mounted somewhere out of sight?

The place is in serious need of a clean-up. Showed the lady all the issues. Tap in bathroom was broken, walls filthy, floors only mopped so skirtings are dirty. There is no table to work at. Their excuse was that there was no one to help carry a table in. Their HR problems have nothing to do with me as a guest. I was not surprised that I was the only person on the premises on Thursday evening, as no other reputable accommodation in the area had place for the evening.

I'm really not satisfied because my expensive perfume is gone! There is no efficient management because other guests who also stayed next door came in 2 times in the early hours of the morning and woke us up. It's very cramped with little ventilation in the living room. There is also no decent oven and not even a proper sharp knife.

Read there were two double beds but this was not the case. My parents are 90 and 82. They struggled with the stairs which forced them to sleep on the bunk beds. The walls have not yet been painted after renovation. The wires hang loose in the bathroom and the general appearance is untidy. TV channels also leave a lot to be desired. Couldn't watch anything. The room does not have burglar bars. Overall, the exterior is nice and the security gate works well. Finishing at the toilet is very poor. Clean cement was used.

The general appearance of the the bathroom and kitchen were grubby, but the bedroom were fine. The chair in the bedroom is greasy, as if grubby hands have been wiped off on the arms over the years. The general finish to the bathroom is poor with badly applied silicone filling in the bathroom tiles, and large patches of mold growing in the shower. The kitchen cloths and towels supplied the first day were very grubby, but were replaced at request. There were mops and brooms used for cleaning stored in a bucket next to the toilet, with the mop head lying up against the wall. Apart from these areas, the other facilities were fine.

There were additions going on. There is no anti-theft system. The room is cramped, the kitchen is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the bathroom is tidy. Thank you very much! The staff waited for us after hours, because we came from Hoedspruit.
The reception was poor. The access is not very visitor friendly.
The unit is very clean with a good bed and clean linen. It was nice to have the TV in the room (sorry DSTV channel 144 is not available, because we miss Binnelanders).
This is a cheap, nice, quiet place to sleep. It's near Wilgers Hospital. You can visit this place with peace of mind.
The accommodation was somewhat run down, the environment was noisy, and there were no bedside lamps.
Overall, it's good value for money, but I would make two recommendations: a small container of fresh milk, and English tea.
The accommodation is clean, but it looks "budget". The alarm goes off in the early hours of the morning and continues to ring because management is not on site. The key is only available during office hours, which is not practical.
You get clean and tidy rooms at a good price. The area is quiet and peaceful.
You get good value for money, especially if you want to stay with a family. The service is also very good. We will book there again if we want to stay in Pretoria.

The manager and staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially since I was unfamiliar with the area. Very safe both for yourself and vehicle, close to Faerie Glen hospital as well as shops. I would really recommend people stay here when in the area.
Things that need attention: TV remote did not work. Lights in the hall did not work. Otherwise, a very pleasant place indeed.
