22 guests' feedbackOn arrival everything was ready for us and we were received very kindly.
When I arrived I was told that my friends will be staying at a different place which didn't sit well with us. Then was told they never received payment and was threatened to be kicked out. The next day when I was supposed to enjoy my breakfast, was called again to come to the office to discuss payment. I was stressing the whole night and morning about the issue of payment, fortunately enough I had proof of payment after I was told to sort it out. Then Freda said we can't use the swimming pool at the cottages because it's booked, which means the fact that I also booked the cottage didn't matter to her. So I will never go to Nandina again.
I am scared of frogs, of which they came out to play at nite. Many early nights for me.
Guesthouse was very neat, the owner was so friendly including her staff, swimming pool very clean, location was very easy for us, we will come back.
I strongly recommend staying there.

Freda received us kindly, and upgraded us from the booked cottage to the most beautiful room in the guest house, with a beautiful view, without extra payment. We could then also use the swimming pool. It was very welcome after a very hot day! We had a lovely stay, with secure parking for the vehicle. Highly recommended!

The owner is friendly and hands on. The place is stunning, homely and the staff is friendly. Most of all it is very clean, and well equipped - you don't need anything. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Very cute outdoor kitchen and lounge by the pool. So slightly disappointed, we booked stand alone Iris Cottage and also received confirmation of our booking. On arrival we were told it was a faulty allocation and shared the place with a large family with constant movement above and around us. Had it been for more than one night it would definitely have been a problem as privacy is pretty high on our priority list. Clock radio has no reception.
Frieda is a particularly friendly and hospitable person who regularly makes sure that everything is right all the time and that we are happy with the stay.
We enjoyed our stay and the owner cared a lot about our enjoyment. She really look after us very well from the day of our arrival until the last day. We enjoyed it a lot.
As family, we had a lovely visit. Everything that one wants for a weekend was there, feels like you are at your own home. Frieda and Joan frequently kept us up to date of the booking. Frieda was a fantastic host and made so much effort to make us feel at home. My sister's 65th birthday will always be remembered.

Reception at guest house by landlady was unprofessional. Doesn't look like the pictures at all. Swimming pool grass green. Extremely untidy and dangerous area. Would not recommend at all! We turned around at the door and didn't stay there!
It's just not very private if you want to sit outside as the pool is there for all the cottages to use.
