Room was neat and clean. Enough and nice puff pillows. We only stayed for one night, and had two problems. 1. Air conditioner had no remote in room and we had to sleep with it all night which made it quite cold. 2. There are coffee making facilities in room but with no information regarding milk. Was too late in the evening to drive to buy. Think reception should give information regarding such detail when checking in.

We slept in a room that was newly redone. Nice tiles, good mattress, very clean and tidy. Everything one needs.

The family rooms look nothing like the pictures. The bunk beds were removed from each other, which made the room so cramped that you couldn't even open the closet doors. There were only 2 blankets for 3 beds. There was no milk/milk powder to make coffee with. There are people constantly making noise in the complex throughout the night. The overall experience was just bad. Would definitely not recommend it.
Centrally located, friendly 24 hour service with clean, comfortable accommodation. Secure parking. Can recommend Nelspruit Lodge with the utmost confidence.

I was a single traveler on business and therefore booked the executive room. The reception was quick and friendly but the room is anything but executive. No fridge. The coffee facility was just an empty kettle, no coffee, tea, sugar or milk. No water, tap it at the bath if you want. There were several errors. The aircon was at 16 degrees but barely made it cold on the 34 degree day. I then decided to turn on the roof fan but the roof fan had not been dusted for months and the dust had accumulated. The bathroom light was just as dirty and the tub didn't have a plug. The towel rail was loose from the wall. The shower head has no head and the hot water tap opens, closes and opens again with one turn. It was awkward. It is also not B&B, so the price I paid of R965 is not worth it. I took pictures of everything and they are available upon request.
Rooms were stuffy and some of the air-conditioning doesn't work, especially since Nelspruit is very hot.
My wife was in the hospital, well situated and I was able to rest well.
Feel free to stay there.
We attended Innibos Arts Festival and won more tickets at the lodge.
Nelspruit Lodge was a nice place to spend the night. They helped us nicely with the aircon that couldn't work, and since we couldn't find a babysitter for the weekend, they comfortably let our 4-year-old stay for free. Very grateful.

Was in President Suite, Hot tub not working properly and sink clogged. When I reported it I was checked to see if I was just complaining. Breakfast R150 per person!
Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are neat and comfortable. Noisy guests were quickly silenced before it could become a problem. Despite the pandemic and curfew, we had a wonderful stay.
The lodge is right on a very busy intersection and the room we had was poorly insulated. We just couldn't sleep.

Nelspruit Lodge is centrally located, extremely tidy with hospitable staff. The rooms are spacious with air conditioning and modern. The breakfast area is also extremely neat and comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Would recommend anyone to use the facility and will stay there again on my next visit.
Rooms are not fully equipped. Too small and decor could be improved a lot. Recommend that breakfast is included in accommodation. More expensive than some 4 star hotels.

It was the best overnight in my entire existence and would really like to experience it again, people should come and see, a lot of effort!
The room was nice and clean and good quality linen. The bed needs to be replaced, people roll towards each other. If you are like us farm people and are not used to traffic that roars all night this place is not for you
Worst experience. After arriving on a Friday afternoon to a not so friendly and disorganized receptionist we were asked to pay for our accommodation (even though we had already paid). The room we were staying in was dirty, noisy and not pleasant at all. The same disorganized unfriendly receptionist then phoned us to request that we bring our card to refund us for the double payment. Due to the windows not being able to close properly and the noise being unbearable we asked to be moved to another room. The receptionist was apologetic but more due to the fact that “she had a sore back” and “wasn’t supposed to work that day” and we were then moved. The room was an improvement but the same problem with the broken windows was evident which resulted in a sleepless night due to the very noisy busy main road. Never again, Nelspruit Lodge. You should not be an operating business with your poor customer service and shocking rooms.
