30 guests' feedbackWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Umdloti and had the best view over the ocean. You can hear the waves and smell the sea. The accommodation was great and very central.
Value for money. Very tidy and the sea can be seen and heard from every room. The shower was a bit of a surprise.
Flat with a beautiful view of the sea. Very little cleaning equipment available and would be good to have a washing machine/dryer available for a longer stay.

One thing, the monkeys are very naughty and fast, keep all fruit in the fridge.
It was a lovely family holiday and we came home rested.
The unit is incredibly neat and we had such a great time staying there for 5 nights. From the moment I booked via the website to when I picked up the keys, the service was excellent. The ladies, Gayle and Cynthia were so helpful and made everything so convenient. Umdloti Cabanas No 9 see us again for sure!
Value for money. The place is neat and clean and has everything you need.
The unit is well located, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Kids enjoyed the pool, and the ocean is right across the road. It's quiet, well maintained, and the unit is laid out to create plenty of space. The 3 balconies and visiting areas are a plus. It's only a few minutes' drive from the airport or shops, or larger centers in Umhlanga. We are definitely going back! Highly recommended.
The unit was beautiful, neat and clean. Fully equipped with everything one needs. Safe and walking distance to shops and beach. We really enjoyed our holiday and had a nice stay at the unit. The front door lock and gate were a bit difficult to open and close. And wifi sometimes just lost signal. Other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you very much.
The stairs can be a problem for older persons and small children or disabled persons. The monkeys are very cute but way too smart and holidaymakers should take seriously the importance of not feeding and always closing doors and windows. This can become a big problem. The fact that beaches are not clean is out of your control, but we were 10 families and everyone is of the opinion that other holiday options will be considered until the problem is resolved. It's very sad. The apartments are very well equipped and the only other amenities that are usually a big plus (washing machine and tumble dryer).
Beautiful, Clean and well looked after. I cannot complain about our accommodation, I can only make a few suggestions. The stairs inside perhaps need a rubber sealant, 3 out of the 4 of us cut their feet. The mop falls apart when being used and the bottom plate of the oven doesn't work. Other then these small fixes, it was wonderful. See you soon.
The apartment is very clean and in a good condition. Everything is functional and ready for use. The location is great. You'll be walking distance from 5-10 restaurants and you will be directly across from the beach. My only complaint would be the garage. It's very small and bigger cars will have trouble getting in and out frequently. That said, there's plenty of parking that's not covered, which was more than enough for us. Since it's still protected.

The apartment was perfect. Gayle was amazing. The sea views from the apartment are bbreathtaking My partner from the states loved it,so did my little toddler daughter. I ccouldn'thave chosen a better place for the three of us. I most definitely will book again.
Very peaceful near the sea, beautiful sunset views. We really enjoyed it.
The view is breathtakingly beautiful. There are also braai facilities. Very neat and modern. We just don't get to lock our vehicle in the garage because the garage is very small. At least there is an elevator which makes it easier to get your bags to the apartment.
Also maybe you should have someone who you arrive to to check if everything that is listed is there and not broken so that you will not be reliable for something you did not do. Plugs in the bedrooms for cell phone charging and also ironing.

Words are too few to describe No 9 Umdloti. We had a wonderful time there.
The place is in a very good-looking location, safe and the view is to die for.
Key wasn't available on arrival at 2pm. It had been given to a TV maintenance team so we had to follow the cleaning staff to the apartment and wait for key to be located. The cleaning staff were also still busy in the apartment so we had to wait for them to finish. Inventory sheet needs to be updated as there are items on there that are no longer in the apartment after refurbishing.
Had a wonderful stay at Umdloti No9. Apartment is spacious, well equipped and perfectly situated in the Umdloti village. The view from every level is breathtaking. Do note that the apartment requires a refundable breakages deposit and signing of rules and regulations doc. This is to ensure well behave guests which ensures a pleasant experience for the whole block. Would definately recommend it if you're looking to enjoy the laid-back lifestyle of Umdloti.
The perfect vacation spot. The most beautiful sea view. If clean, neat and quiet. Only the 3 sets of stairs a bit rough for older people. Will definitely stay there again.

The elevator needs attention. We were stuck, but at least not for long.
I love No 9 Umdloti, would recommend it for a small family or elderly who want a quiet holiday and it's close to the airport and Durban itself. The beach is clean and it has a very nice view of the sea. I will definitely go back to no 9 Umdloti on holiday!
Our stay was very pleasant - the only shortcoming was WiFi - as it was a partial work and holiday break.
It was a wonderful experience! Will go back again anytime.
