We loved our (short) stay at Oppie Koppie. The rooms were adequate and comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we loved the look-out area at the top of the koppie.

Lovely crisp linen, fluffy towels and solar power for frequent load shedding, so always had lights, use of the kettle and TV. Air con was provided so one could cool down the room before the power went off. Cold drinking water and milk in the fridge.
Oppie Koppie has excellent overnight facilities and beautiful views over Bethulie. Had a very hospitable reception and slept well in the rooms. For me, the little things like real milk for your coffee and the biscuit count. You rarely even get a bottle of water for each guest. Also had a nice meal that evening in Snotkop's Bethulie restaurant.
Perfect sleepover for further travels.
The hosts are very friendly, they have a beautiful garden where you can sit and relax. We would just prefer a unit that has a facility to wash the dishes you used. Even though they cleaned the room and dishes the next morning, unit 4 doesn't have washing facilities for dishes, which makes it a little uncomfortable. The crockery in the unit is only two of each, which means if you have coffee when you arrive, you either need to wash it in the bathroom or use a dirty cup again.
Solar power helps with load shedding. Small pool for when it's hot, but also air conditioning in the rooms. Clean and wet and very friendly hostess and host. Would stay there again anytime.
It was great staying here, the hosts we're very friendly and we felt right at home, such nice people! Unfortunately we only had one night here. We would sleep here again! Thanks for being so kind!

OppieKoppie is a lovely place to stay overnight in a beautiful historic village. Everything was neat and clean. Very comfortable, nothing was missing.

Mariska was lovely and received us very kindly upon our arrival. She made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible and made an effort to even provide us with a cot. The swimming pool with a beautiful view of the town/dam/bridge was a winner and the children had a great time playing on the walkways.
We had a wonderful overnight stay at Oppie Koppie. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and the air conditioners were a relief in the January heat. The pool too. The view over the Gariepdam is really something to see. And the filter coffee in the rooms was some of the best I've had in a long time. I will visit Oppie Koppie again anytime and also recommend it.
The garden is beautiful with paths all over and little spots to sit in the shade of the trees. The aircon in the room was very welcome. The room had everything I needed and thought had been put into it. Highly recommend it to anyone needing a stop over.

Oppie Koppie B&B is by far the best accommodation in Bethulie with splendid views of the town and the bridge. We booked the family room which had all the necessary amenities for our five-night stay. The daily breakfast was a definite highlight. Our hostess' hospitality also made our stay unforgettable. We will be coming back.

The view from the koppie just behind the guesthouse over Bethulie is beautiful, especially with a sunset. The guesthouse is in a peaceful area. The rooms are well equipped with everything you might need. Breakfast is exceptional quality and Estelle's hospitality makes you feel at home.
It was a lovely overnight session. We visited the concentration camp's cemetery and it was once again very insightful and it makes you very sad.
Estelle is the perfect hostess! A warm welcome on arrival, our reservation made at a local restaurant, excellent breakfast the next morning with homemade jams, marmalade and even honey from her own beehives. The rooms are very well furnished with high quality linen and lovely local sheepskin bedside mats! The view from the braai and pool area is stunning - the town on one side and the veld and mountains on the other. We were sorry to leave, but will certainly return whenever we are in the area again.
