I couldn't figure out the TV, but the internet was fast enough to watch the news once the host got me set up. Definitely a pleasant place to get away from the Lowveld heat! The only downside is that the cottage smells of mildew (lots of rain up there), which could cause problems if you have allergies.
We were very kindly received by Laetitia and Des! We had a wonderful stay and felt at home, very peaceful and everything you need is there. Thank you very much for the gem of a place, you will definitely see us again!

Accommodation neat, comfortable with really everything you need. Can recommend for sure.
Watch out for the monkey he/she doesn't knock or ask if the fruit is for "everyone". If you want to barbecue, take wood/charcoal with you, there is limited/no purchase possibility.
The guest house offers everything a vacationer in Kaapschehoop needs.
Location is very good. We were able to walk around in unique Kaapschehoop. Restaurants are also within walking distance. I can recommend Panda's Guest House with great confidence.
What a beautiful place and our hostess was great.
We were warmly received, everything was very clean and tidy and fully equipped, also for Eskom. The DStv was a bonus, as was WiFi. It was a bitterly cold weekend, but the accommodation was lovely, plenty of warm blankets. We felt really spoiled. Would definitely recommend them.

We stayed in Owl's Cottage - everything you need for an overnight stay is there, including a stove, pots, pans, cutlery and braai area for self-catering. It's conveniently located - close enough to the restaurants, but far enough to give you peace and quiet to be able to relax.

Panda is founded in the heart of kaapschehoop where everything is a short walk away. The house was cleaned daily and the owners are the nicest people. There is DSTV, kitchen facilities, a very nice shower, silence and also a cute panda bear of a dog that looks after the yard. No other place than that.
I really enjoyed it and felt very welcome. It is modern and neat and so much value for money. It has everything you will need. I go back every month. There had been loadshedding, and they had a generator to keep the necessary going.

Genuine friendliness and excellent balance between own privacy and being a host. You're going to have to look to beat Des and Laetitia's beautiful human nature in the hospitality industry. Combine great accommodation with excellent bird watching with the local guide and you have a worthwhile weekend!
We had a lovely weekend in Kaapsehoop! The unit is very neat and is fully equipped with everything you need for a short break. There is a lovely private garden where we could barbecue and the location is perfect. We were received very kindly and would recommend the place to anyone.
We would go back any time for the most delicious relaxation. Des and Latetia are the most wonderful host and hostess. It feels like you could stay there forever in the most beautiful town in the country.

Laetitia and Des received us kindly and took us to the accommodation, where Laetitia pointed out and explained everything. The place to stay has everything you need and is close to all the town's eateries - yet far enough that you can stay in silence. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the town with its wild horses.
Panda Guest cottage is the cutest little stay-over in Kaapche hoop. Although small you have eveything you need. Can cook a 5 course meal if you are so inclined. Leatitia is an attentive hostess, made us feel very welcome indeed.
The hosts, Laetitia and Des, were so so helpful and welcoming. The cottage is excellent value for money. It is neat, clean and beautifully decorated. It is in the heart of Kaapsehoop and I would definitely recommend a stay at Panda's Cottage to anyone!
Very comfortable accommodation. Although we only used it as a stopover, it is a very nice place to stay to explore the beautiful surroundings for a few days.
The people are very hospitable. We had an incredibly nice stay. The place is very neat with a good bed and bedding. The little garden has many birds, and now and then monkeys come to visit. It's quite a "treat" for a city dweller who never sees it. The breakfast is delicious! Would recommend to anyone.

We were kindly received by Laetitia and walked to our place through a beautiful, well-kept, interesting garden full of surprises. What a revelation! Everything was of the best quality and showed good taste. Laetitia thought of every possible need and catered for it (eg plasters, headache pills and an extension cord). Sherry with glasses and chocolates were set out by the comfortable armchairs. There was not only sugar, but white and brown sugar and sweetener. There was not only soap, but also bath crystals, bubble bath and shower soap. There were even toothpicks! There was not only good coffee, but also nut coffee. Outside was a cosy, private barbecue under cover, with silver-clean grills and a small table with two chairs. The mattress was out of another world and the linen was spotless and exquisite. The only fault is that we only slept there one night - what a pity! We definitely want to go again! We would recommend Panda Guest Cottages with great confidence!

It was a wonderful experience. We wanted to see the wild horses and they did not disappoint. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and tidy and the host and wife were just the best. Will go back to them anytime.

The cottage is well equipped with a small private garden to relax in. The hostess's hospitality is unsurpassed and we will definitely stay at Panda's again as soon as we are in the area again.
The reception of was like the gate to heaven. The detail is spelled out as soon as your feet step out of the car. The garden path to the front door is peaceful. The linen is of grace and cherishes the sherry and chocolate. Artificial. The bath is a royal treat and soft towels in abundance. The water is warm and the pressure strong. The shower is wide and clean. There are soft mats for your feet. Words will barely convey my stay in Panda. Ideally one would want to escape alone and still want to be part of the life that prevails outside, but here you are away from the world and its things with only yourself as known. Safe. In stylish hands. Place of rest. Well prepared.
