Paternoster Manor is certainly the best B&B we've had the pleasure of staying in to date. John is an excellent host, the place is spic and span clean, very well decorated, comfortable bed, plunger coffee in the room as well as all the DStv channels. The breakfast (included) was awesome. Trying to think of any constructive criticism, I could only come up with that some air freshener spray in the bathroom would be nice.
I enjoyed everything about Paternoster though it does not have activities especially for kids.

Our group of friends had a great time. Reception was quick and the hosts are very pleasant. The location is good and everything is within walking distance. Will go back as soon as possible.
We had to ask for our trash to be emptied in the kitchen, had to ask for new toilet paper. Only after I inquired if someone at least came to clean the bathrooms every day they sent someone on the 3rd day and even then basic things like the floor were not even washed. If you pay almost R7000 for 4 nights' accommodation, you expect such things are basic services that will be included even if it is a self-catering unit. After all, there was an offer by the manager to do our laundry, and it was simply never done. Evildoers walk around and see where they can do harm to people's possessions as well. We feel really dissatisfied with our experience with the accommodation!

Beautiful room, nice cutlery, everything is spotless, quality beds and linen, beautiful view. Claudia made us feel like we were the most important guests she had ever received. Breakfast was something different every morning and very special. I recommend the guest house with confidence.

Lovely guest house away from the noise and busy streets, yet close enough to walk to restaurants. We booked Manor Suite, with a lovely veranda and large bathroom. Dierdre, our hostess, was absolutely the best. She pays attention to all the details and treats. Parking is safe and you walk across the street to the beach. We will definitely go again in the winter months, the weather is just too hot in Nov/Dec/Jan and the wind blows you away!

Great place to stay for a peaceful weekend in the lovely town of Paternoster. The owner, Claudia, is amazingly friendly and helpful. She makes you feel at home right away and helps you to get around in the area. The rooms have everything you can ask for, if you like comfort and luxury.
I would recommend it to anyone and will use it again in the future. We were treated very hospitable and friendly by Deidre from reception to departure the next morning.
We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend in Paternoster, helped along by the pleasing décor and general ambiance of The Manor. Deedee served breakfasts that was a feast for both the eye and the palate and was very helpful with dinner recommendations and reservations. Can't wait for next time.
This was our first visit to Paternoster, but certainly not our last. The friendliness of the residents and business people is by far the best ever of all our experiences. The most wonderful experience was the absolute hospitality of Deirdre Jonker. This woman made our stay the best ever. The clean beach and rocks are an experience. The food at the various eateries was very fresh and well prepared.
What a pleasant cremation it was. The hostess's kindness, hospitality and delicious breakfasts were really great!
It would be nice if there were more TV channels, e.g. DStv with CNN, Sky News, E-News, BBC News, Entertainment etc. - the big package. But that's just my personal taste! Other than that, it was paradise.

Patenoster Manor is a very beautiful Guest House: very clean, opulent, but still welcoming. I found Paternoster Manor to be very clean, which is great, I felt very homely, and on the day that I left I really did not want to leave. As I am in the tourist business, I will tell my clients about the place if they are going to be going to Patenoster. From the beginning of the inquiry, to the end of our stay we were treated with respect and kindness, my husband and I both enjoyed it very much. We will be back. Thank you so much!

I found it expensive, and for my taste, the decor was over the top! The breakfast was also nothing to write home about. However, the location was good and it was very clean.
