We had a very pleasant stay at Pepper Berry Place - we were in the cottage. I found the place to be very well equipped, with excellent kitchen appliances, heating and cooling options, good bedding and a comfortable king-size bed. There were adequate towels for both of us, and a lovely touch was the coffee capsules, muesli, rusks, yoghurts, juices and waters left for our enjoyment. There were fresh flowers and a 'welcome' basket with wine and fruit to greet our arrival, thank you, much appreciated. This level of generosity is not usual in self-catering stays! Thanks for seamless check-in and check-out, as well as assisting with a minor problem with a plug. I would highly recommend this exceptional space.
The stay was fabulous.
Upon our arrival at Pepper Berry Place, we were warmly received and everything was explained to us nicely by Claude, the manager. We stayed in the self-catering unit and the unit was clean, tidy and equipped with everything we needed. There were even extras like Nespresso pods, yogurt and bottled water in the fridge, muesli, flowers and a nice bottle of wine! We haven't slept as well as we did on that bed in a long time. The bedding was light, cozy and warm. The raging storm outside did little to hinder us. Speaking of the storm - Hermanus was cut off from the outside world and we were unable to return home. Malinda kept us informed of the state of affairs and when it later became clear that we would not be able to go home, the unit was made available to us for another night, free of charge! Our offer to pay for the accommodation was kindly but firmly declined. We can highly recommend Pepper Berry Place - you'd have to look far to come across more hospitable people than Malinda and Claude!
We only stayed in Pepper Berry for one night and it was very nice with everything our family needed. It was very clean and everything was in good working order and very good condition. We would definitely be able to stay longer as it is so central and we always felt safe and the staff were very friendly and always available.
Extras that are included such as yogurt in the fridge, muesli, biscuits, Nespresso with pods and fresh flowers in the room show that they go above and beyond to make the experience special. I requested that my 2 children and I go into a unit for only 2 people and they were very accommodating with me. It is much appreciated!
We were received very kindly and everything was explained to us. Als was so clean and tidy. Customer service is fantastic. Great location and we received so many extras. There were even fresh flowers. We will definitely visit there again.
We were greeted on arrival and given vital information about the space we would be in. Any questions that we had were answered. The place came equipped with everything that was needed to stay warm and gadgets needed for load shedding were readily available.

Probably my best stay out if any of the website's accommodations. Was 100% happy in every aspect. Fridges even had water juice and yoghurts in both rooms. Was very clean. Lovely touches in the bathrooms and it met all our needs and requirements. Claude was an excellent host and attended to our every need (not that much was needed at all).

We stayed 5 nights in Pepper Berry. The apartment was much more spacious than we expected, is conveniently laid out, has secure parking and a beautiful braai area outside. Claude received us. He was exceptionally nice and accommodating and all correspondence with the owners was convenient! There were lots of extras we were treated to on our arrival - flowers, bottle of wine, milk and water in the fridge and much more. This stay was really comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the double bathroom facilities are luxurious and we slept well. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Hermanus. We would happily recommend this place to anyone!
My husband and I will definitely stay at Pepper Berry Palce again. The customer service was great, neat destination with a nice sheltered private entrance.
