A carefully maintained and landscaped garden welcomes guests to the house, which is a double storey. There are 2 bedrooms situated on each level. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with either bath or shower. The Christmas Rose room has a shower over a bath, while the Sunflower Room has a shower. Lavender Room has a shower, and Lily Room has a bath.

Lovely accommodation with a breathtaking view.
Nice house but mattresses on ground floor old and uncomfortable. Broken light bulbs everywhere. Veranda outside otherwise ok.
Lovely spacious house, well located to explore the town on foot, but out of the (buzz), with a beautiful view of the mountains. Dolores kept us up to date with any power and water issues that occurred, which was much appreciated.
We had a very nice stay. The maid was very helpful and always friendly. The dining room chairs could do with covers and there weren't enough soda glasses available.
It is a very nice holiday home with enough space. Nice decor. The garden is well maintained. We recommend purchasing a meat bowl and salad spoons. The outdoor table is very weathered and therefore the surface is uneven, which led to the breaking of glasses.
We had a wonderful stay at Periwinkle, it is far enough out of town and also close enough to walk into town which is such a treat. The house was clean and as advertised, the helper is a wonderful lady and such an added bonus.
The house is well laid out. Rooms are very tastefully furnished. The beds and bedding were wonderful resulting in a good night's rest. The house was neat and clean and well equipped. The furniture was comfortable and the views were stunning.
Maybe some better pillows would be my only recommendation. And WiFi.

The house is well equipped with everything you will need and we really can't complain about anything. Dina, the friendly housekeeper, tidied up the house and washed the dishes every day. We will definitely want to visit here again when we visit Clarens in the future.

It was a great treat that Dina came in promptly every day to clean and tidy up. The gas stove is also a bonus during load shedding. A kettle for the gas stove will help!

This is a beautiful home, well-equipped, immaculate, sparkling clean, and spacious and each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. We travelled with friends to a wedding in the area and we're so glad we found Periwinkle Blue. Really close to town, but peaceful and perfect in every way. Thank you.

The spacious, stylish house, with many sitting areas inside and outside, has 4 bedrooms, each en-suite. Very good option for mature people who want to stay together and visit privately. I do recommend that the beds, linens and pillows should be replaced, they are very old and no longer sleep well.

Periwinkle Blue is situated within walking distance from the main road of Clarens. The views are stunning and the position of the upstairs lounge area and bedrooms is lovely. However, the underfloor heating was not working in the lounge and dining room downstairs. We could not use that area until the manager, Gavin, arranged 2 gas heaters. He also sorted out the geyser as we did not have much hot water initially.
I enjoyed the set out of the unit, 4 bedrooms - 2 up stairs with a sitting area and balcony. 2 Downstairs, with sitting room, dining room and kitchen. Each bedroom has underfloor heating and en suite bathrooms, as well as TV's. Big unit, accommodates 8 adults easily.
We were there with our small children and dog. We would love to stay here again. The house is nice and spacious, very neat and beautiful. The garden was big and nice for our small children (3 years and 1 year old) and dog. All the rooms have underfloor heating and a TV in the rooms. The kitchen is nice and big, the house is easy to live in.

Exceeded all expectations, very neat place to stay. Will definitely stay there again.
Revamp required to keep the house more functional. There was no Wi-Fi too. It needs a revamp as it was difficult to open the doors. The house had balconies but we couldn't open it so couldn't enjoy the view. The geysers were getting tripped every time and therefore couldn't have a hot water bath.
What a grate place to stay. Beautiful and everything you needed. Good for the soul. Grateful.

We had heavy rain, so the water was flooding into the top floor lounge from the balcony. A few repairs needed but nothing that compromised the quality of our stay.

Our group was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful home. The access road from the main road is a dirt road and slightly sloped if you, like us, drive with Harleys. The house is beautiful, well laid out, each room has an en-suite bathroom. Very spacious, large kitchen and nice places to hang out around the house. I can recommend it. Will definitely stay there again.

Our stay in Periwinkle Blue was lovely. The property is spacious, well furnished and has a homecoming atmosphere. The decor is beautiful and the linen is of good quality. The house is within walking distance of the town which makes it extremely convenient. We never felt unsafe. In the kitchen, however, there is a shortage of large ladles, egg spatulas and aprons. The woman who works in the house is very friendly and helpful.

We had the whole house to ourselves, and could choose from the 4 rooms. We had a really nice stay and really enjoyed the porch.
I had a nice stay although it is strange that there is no interaction with the owner/manager. Only Dina, the cleaner, is present in the mornings and she is very helpful. So I also had to help explain to guests who had booked how to access their room. The keys I got to unlock the front gate only worked from the inside. So if I wanted to gain access from the outside, I opened the car gate. Although it was confirmed in writing that there was a hairdryer in the room, there was none available. I did then locate one in the kitchen.
We were a family of seven who spent two nights at Periwinkle's. The house is well equipped and the rooms very comfortable. The view over the Malutis is exceptional. All this beautiful home lacks is a little "TLC". Small things that need attention, but which do not hinder one's comfort. The Weber braai is loin lame and tired, its best days are over. Diana was very good to us and came to fix the house every day. I happily recommend Periwinkle to prospective guests - you won't regret it.
The house is very well located and very comfortable. Diana provides a very good cleaning service. The house currently needs some maintenance to repair small things.
All negative is that the upper rooms are very hot, especially now with the very hot summer nationwide. An air conditioner on the upper floor would be a big plus. DStv decoder in one of the upper rooms is also out of order.
