The place was very clean and tidy. Very friendly reception and constantly asking if everything is ok. The rooms are very comfortable and very well equipped!

Personally, I would not use Pete's Retreat again because the stairs are stylish especially for taking luggage up and down and it is open so if it rains you will get wet. There is a gas geyser and they are notorious for their temperature variability and that is exactly what happened here. Fortunately the weather was warm. My pillowcase had a store hook torn and you can tell it is from age. The place is well located and clean.
I will use Pete's again. It has a safe, affordable location and is clean.

It was around the corner from where I worked. The service was particularly good and the room always clean and tidy.
We booked out all the rooms and upon arrival there were fewer people than we initially paid for, when we put single people in the rooms then we are not allowed to do that and also the only rooms where there should be 2 people are allowed we don't use the other bed. We also first had to fill the rooms with double people and were then also not allowed to use the extra rooms even though we had paid for everyone and had not done any cancellation.
Will stay there again. Nice and everything goes smoothly. Only bit of criticism: TV unusable. Image completely unclear.

Any request was immediately met. The breakfasts were delicious and varied well. Pieter and Hester were friendly but not intrusive. The room was nicely decorated and everything was very clean (which is important to me, especially a clean bathroom). The parking lot was well secured. I would stay there again.

Great place, clean with good service.
I would visit Pete's again anytime as everything was amazing except the gas 'geyser'. It's a good idea to overcome load shedding, but it made showering very difficult, and I think more water is wasted than necessary. Maybe another solution can be looked for?

Beautifully refined and beautiful gardens. Comfortable living room and sitting area in garden with sparkling pool. In all respects meticulously cared for with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly welcome and help. Will not be looking for another place to stay in Centurion area again.
