The room was nice and big, clean and tidy. Elize is a special person, friendly with a good heart and she was very helpful. Great value for money and we couldn't have asked for better.

We stayed 2 nights and after getting used to sharing the bathroom and kitchen with the other guests, we had a very nice stay. The house is spacious and the hostess was wonderful, making us feel at home and assuring us we could use the kitchen, living room and pool. The last night she helped us with an additional room. The house is located in a good and central area.

The facility was excellent, clean and the nice area. Rooms and beds very comfortable. The only problem we as a group had, was that the owner did not give us privacy. We arranged with her that we are going to a function and that we will return late and would like to light a fire and talk at her outside braai area. She was in agreement to this arrangement. When we returned late she was around the whole time and kept complaining we are making noise, which was just us talking and then told us after we made a fire that we can not sit outside and talk and have to come inside. We also did not appreciate the tone in which she spoke to us. The group of friends were all between 55 and 56 years old and everyone felt uncomfortable with the situation. . She made out stay uncomfortable. A pity, she really has a beautiful venue and everything else was perfect. No facilities for loadshedding, only a few chargable lamps. No gas equipment.

Owner is friendly upon arrival. The house is very safe and the furniture gives character to the beautiful acid stone house. Spacious pool, child-friendly and if you arrange, there will be a hot plate of food at a reasonable price.

We were 6 people who vacationed together. My sister and her family are 4 and me and my mother. We were warmly received and kept informed of the load shedding times every day so that we could plan better. We are provided with a full kitchen. Clean bed linen and swimming and bath towels. The hostess was available all the time and responded immediately when we requested something.
I made the reservation on behalf of my Mother and Grandmother. Elize was so helpful on Whatsapp and also explained everything to me nicely. She woke up my Mom and Grandma earlier in the morning. She helped my Grandma with an iron and ironing board for her clothes. She also forwarded the load shedding schedule the morning before they checked in. We would really recommend booking here.

Elize is a wonderful host with attention to detail (I received a pin to the location on the morning of my arrival). She went out of her way to make our stay pleasant and even served us yoghurt and coffee the next morning. Clean, neat and spacious house full of character where you can watch the squirrels eating their peanuts. I will definitely recommend Petite France as a superb experience.
