Our Lodge is situated in Silonque Holiday Estate and offers quality accommodation for a small family or group of friends. The house overlooks the Kruger National Park and is within easy reach of the Phalaborwa gate into the park.
The house has 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 adults at a time. The first bedroom features a double bed, and the second bedroom features 2 single beds pushed together to form a double bed. Each room offers an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet, and double basin. Moreover, a cot can be arranged on request.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, a microwave, a fridge, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. It also features a dishwasher for guests’ convenience. The house has solar panels and a battery for during load shedding.
The spacious living room features comfortable seating and a TV with DStv and a DVD player. There is a dining area where guests can enjoy their meals together. The living room has a door leading to the patio with outdoor furniture, braai facilities and a splash pool. Guests also have access to free Wi-Fi during their stay. The accommodation has solar panels and a battery so during loadshedding the only things that will not work are the stove and only 1 aircon will be available.
Silonque Bush Estate offers a swimming pool and a tennis court. This resort has 10 houses, so it retains a feeling of exclusivity. Animals roam freely on the resort, so expect visits from giraffes, warthogs, elephants, kudu, waterbuck, porcupine, aardvark, impala, steenbok, grey duiker, hyena, civet, and if you are lucky even the elusive leopard. For this reason, pets are unfortunately not allowed.

4 guests' feedbackThe apartment was terribly dirty. There was a dead mouse in the knives and forks drawer, full of manure. I sent a photo to the host on Whatsapp.
The silence was the best.
We had a very nice stay. The only thing that bothered us a bit is that in the 3 nights we stayed there, they didn't bring us clean towels once and the second last day they came to clean, we didn't have black bags in the bin either .
Well priced and very comfortable. Our hosts were lovely, very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and always available to answer our questions. Lovely people, quiet place. There is not a lot to do nearby so it is best if you want to do plenty of game drives or just relax at home by the pool. There had been a lot of rain (unusual apparently) just before we got there and the roofs of some of the houses had leaked - our sofa was wet - but the folk at reception took special care to make sure we were dry and comfortable. Take plenty of food as only breakfast is available and it's a drive to the nearest shop.
