If I can recommend providing a tumble dryer for rainy days. And to a roof cover outside the fireplace to able to still enjoy the fireplace despite the rain. For safety precaution to provide excess control at the main gate.
The cottage is amazing and the owner is loving and welcoming.

The cottage included all the necessary amenities and was equipped with everything we needed. It is very central and within walking distance to the beaches, shops and is across the road from a few restaurants. The restaurants do host professional DJ's in the evenings, and the speakers face the cottage bedroom windows, so if you want an early night and peaceful sleep then this isn't for you. Our teenagers loved the convenience and safety of being able to walk to the daily parties.

I'd just like to add, that the only aspect you can improve on is adding another bathroom. One bathroom is a bit tricky for 8 guests. Having to wait until the one gets done was a bit challenging.
Great location, comfortable lodging and very well equipped with everything that you need. Will most certainly be returning for another visit with the family.

We had a wonderful stay at Philippa Cottage. Situated close to shops and restaurants we could just walk to where we wanted to be.

Nice holiday home, which is well equipped. The spiral staircase may be a bit dangerous for small children, but the rooms are wonderfully sunny and private. Very close to all the shops, restaurants and beach.
The house is value for your money and really great if you go with friends, the host is so friendly and doesn't bother you. She isn't even there when you arrive and explains everything to you over the phone, she is the true meaning of a host. The house is spotless when you arrive and accommodates you with everything, you basically just take yourself. The location is great as well, 5 minutes walk to the beach and has everything near to it, including a liquor store, pubs, restaurants and even a Spar for those last minute things you need. The place is safe and is armed with an alarm. Thanks so much, Lauren, what a great weekend it was.
