The cottage is very comfortably furnished. Additional attention was given to e.g. fresh drinking water, a large container of braai wood, cold milk in the fridge etc. We lacked absolutely nothing. The location in Greyton is excellent. We will definitely visit Potato Patch Self-catering Cottage again.
Very characterful "gingerbread" cottage, walking distance from the restaurants and market. Very sensible and beautiful interior, with good quality and comfort throughout. Beautiful, spotless linen. Lovely outdoor seating area. Very friendly reception by the home owner, completely on time too. Excellent value which I would highly recommend.
Well-equipped. Firepit a bonus as well as use of the swimming pool. Karin and Lynette were super helpful.
The house warmed up wonderfully with the wood burning oven! The house is set back off the road which means you don't hear much in the way of noise just a generator when load shedding happens, but it's not close by so it's not bothersome! A very relaxed environment!
Lovely antique fireplace that warms up nicely. Kitchen has everything you need. Firm mattresses and good quality bedding.
We enjoyed our stay at Potato Patch so much. Karin is a lovely hostess. The big yard was an absolute pleasure since our children could run around and ride their bicycles. The fireplace and all the heaters throughout the cottage ensured a warm and cosy stay. We will definitely book this place again and can highly recommend it.

Lovely comfortable accommodation in a characterful cottage. Nice outdoor areas also in the tree-rich garden. Very centrally located. Can walk to everything.
This self-catering cottage is perfectly situated in Greyton. Close enough to the main road so that you can walk everywhere but situated on a lovely quiet road. There are several cafes close by serving delicious breakfast. Karin was a lovely and thoughtful host, she made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. The accommodation is very comfortable. The Saturday we were in Greyton was very rainy and cold but the little fireplace/stove in the unit works like a bomb, we were as warm as toast. The thoughtful touches like bottled water and marshmallows for the firepit were very much appreciated. Can highly recommend.
The only problem with the accommodation was that the pool is not in front of the rental cottage but in front of the main house which was not that suited. The host however did make it clear that we could use it anytime.
Four friends, who hadn't been together since before Covid, wanted a quiet, interesting place to regroup and catch up. Greyton was the perfect destination, and the Potato Patch and Karin was the perfect place.
Karin is literally the best host I've ever had. Stayed in contact before, during and after our stay.
Nice and cosy (but still spacious) cottage with an ideal location in Greyton. The cottage is private and very well equipped with a few extras. A home away from home! Will definitely stay here again.

Potato Patch offers the perfect accommodation whether you are traveling alone, as a family or with friends. We were there and Karin welcomed us with our 3 dogs (1 is an 80kg Great Dane) at Potato Patch. The units are spacious, private and the location is perfect for walking to popular spots and restaurants. The perfect getaway!
