Excellent guest house. Friendly and helpful. Clean. Nice pool. Everything one needs. Delicious breakfast. Even lights and hot water through power outages.

Nice stay there in De Aar.
Jan and Andrea made our visit to Potties an absolute feast. The rooms are excellent with aircons to make the worst heat a distant memory. Due to problems on the road we wouldn't be in town in time for dinner, that wasn't a problem. Jan and Andrea prepared an incredible dinner for us and served it in our room shortly after our arrival. My husband enjoyed the pool immensely! Breakfast was top notch! Definitely a winner for travelers to stay overnight, but especially for businesses to use as a retreat. PS: Meals are not included in the overnight rates.

Potties Guest House is a jewel in the middle of the Karoo. You feel at home from the first moment. Everything needed is there. The barbecue fires make it extra special.

I only had an issue with housekeeping: the room/bathroom was not cleaned on the second day and the towels were also not replaced with clean ones. Please give your guests an option of either a shower or bath, otherwise indicate if there isn't one of either for convenience (I did not have a shower cap). Otherwise, I appreciate the great service and peaceful atmosphere.

Friendly owners, but if you don't paraglide it's just right for one night's sleepover. There is not much to do in town.
Great hospitality and service.
We were pleasantly impressed with their hospitality - as dinner was not available in town due to it being a public holiday - our hostess Desiree included us in their evening meal which was very enjoyable.
I was very impressed by the excellent service received. The owner packed us a takeaway breakfast as we wanted to leave very early and it was sufficient for lunch as well. Very nice private B&B.
