43 guests' feedbackI have enjoyed my stay at the guest house, but my problem is the rooms don't have a stove. Hence, I was told it's a self-catering.
Our stay was good. The host is a really decent person, and the cleaning ladies are also just as nice and decent.
Pretty decent. We were only there for a night so could not really judge properly, but we liked the area we were in as it was close to restaurants and hang out places.
We'll make use of Pumleni's services again.
Very clean and tidy. Not all the DStv channels were available, but overall we had a nice stay there.

The first night we were alone and had a wonderful night's rest. The following evening, more guests moved into the room next to us and because the separation was only a closed door we did not experience a pleasant night's rest. Very noisy and we could hear almost everything.
It was very enjoyable. Suggestion - more cups in the room as the washing in the bathroom is a little inconvenient. Would be nice is Breakfast could be served at additional cost.
Pumleni has very friendly workers, the place is very nice, modern and centered on the main street, but still safe and quiet.
No breakfast or pool.
The guesthouse needs to provide flexibility to guests. The lack of kitchen washing facility was an inconvenience as a result we had to improvise and ended up washing dirty dishes using the toilet basin which was very unhygienic and uncomfortable. Otherwise we would have kept dirty dishes for up to 12 hours. Providing a small table with a two-plate stove and a small sink, which I had expected as a standard for the guest houses, would have eliminated this unnecessary inconvenience and unpleasant experience.
In room number 10 the following should be looked at: 1) The carpet by the sliding door is absolutely cooked and dirty - should be thrown away and replaced - not a good impression when you walk into the room. 2) The sink's faucet (the strainer is gone) and the fact that the plug mechanism doesn't work, so you can't fill the sink with water to wash your face. 3) Mats next to the bed should also be replaced - dirty stains / marks under mats. 4) Microwave oven was also not properly cleaned. Memory we received is lovely and very helpful, I just think she can't handle everything by herself, she was on duty all weekend alone. She offered other available rooms but one was very small and smelled of burnt wood and the other was right by the main road which can get very noisy.
Excellent service and reception. Rooms great and very tidy. Costs very reasonable. Definitely worth staying in.
Road in front of the guest house very noisy and busy. Loadshedding, but no generator. No receptionist to be able to indicate until when power would be out.
Maintenance needs attention. The ceiling fan in Room 10 will soon fall out of the roof. Complimentary soap, hand wash etc., the containers are not user friendly. Other than that, no complaints. Staff very friendly and willing to help with anything.
Joseph was very friendly and room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was incredibly delicious.

Not sure why I was charged for 2 adults when it was myself and my teenage daughter. I know I changed the booking 2 days before, but only got word late that my husband won't be joining. If charged the original amount and taking my changes into consideration, I would have reconsidered recommending the facility. I do feel though that the price was steep for a 2 night stay. Getting to the plugs was a mission, as well as using the kettle. Water pressure in shower was really not strong, but nice and warm.

The establishment is very professionally run, by dedicated, friendly, helpful, kind, knowledgeable members, thanks for a brilliant stay, the after hours help we received for the baby's milk bottle, was stunning and so kind, thanks a mil, will definitely go back, grounds and clean pool all add to the magic, food excellent, service. Top notch 20 out of 10.

Pumleni Guesthouse's staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome. We were offered coffee at reception because we got there about half an hour early and the room wasn't ready yet. We were able to occupy our room promptly at 14:00. Everything was neat and clean. A pleasant surprise! What stood out to us was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and attention to detail. Because we had to attend a function that evening and it was very cold, the staff came to turn on the warm blankets and air conditioning during our absence so that we had a warm room when we got home. The breakfast the next morning was carefully prepared and delicious. We can highly recommend Pumleni Guesthouse. We will definitely use them again in the future.
The customer service was excellent. We enjoyed making a braai there and their breakfast was a feast.
The only good thing is Joseph, he's friendly and love people. The place is not neat outside. Same breakfast.
TV's remote control did not work. Microwave was not there, and the one that brought them did not work. Room lock is having trouble locking. The staff the next morning were not friendly. We didn't even have breakfast. Won't see us again.

Room was well furnished and tidy. It is central and we could walk to the nearest restaurant. Good air conditioning and TV channels. Had a very nice breakfast.
Small criticisms: Jaccuzi too small, and I'd love to see an improvement on the breakfast menu.

It was a lovely guest house. The breakfast was particularly tasty, and very well prepared. The room was very neat and we couldn't fault it. The workers there struggle a little with English and do not understand Afrikaans at all. I will suggest it to people!

Our bed was not made properly after the first night.
Needed a one night stay but was totally surprised with hospitality, equipment of the unit and the attention to small details. Nice warm room on arrival in cold, all the facilities were adequate, one suggestion for a mirror in the room. But thoroughly enjoyed stay.
