We travel a lot and sleep over in many places. Puzzles ranks among the top 3 of all places to stay in SA. The attention to detail takes your breath away. Service is excellent. You get the best of everything, and there are little treats everywhere that you don't expect. People looking for a view of the dam miss out. The Karoo landscape is much more beautiful. And nothing spoils the silence and atmosphere at the pool and barbecue at sunset. This place is really perfect! We stayed 3 nights, and didn't want to leave!

We only stayed one night at Puzzles, this accommodation is one of the best guesthouses/self-catering units I have visited in a very long time. The room with everything was excellent, coffee, biscuits, fresh milk, a bottle of cold water in the fridge. The barbecue equipment is top notch. I would definitely stay there again.

We booked two rooms next to each other and also used the braai room for dinner even though we didn't braai. Everything is there. A lot of attention has been paid to detail and you feel welcome and at home.
Place good, as far as I could see not safe for people who are disabled, e.g. riding seat, walking frame.
We have in no. 1 left. Everything was clean and tidy and the shower was a pleasure to use with all the adjustments. There is a nice swimming pool to cool off and a communal barbecue area to grill some meat while you swim. We were very impressed and will definitely stay there again.

They accommodated us when we arrived late and also left with us. My little dogs were also very happy with the setup.
The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy. Very welcoming, and our 2 fur kids were even given their own welcome treats. The rooms had everything you would ever need, even a container with crockery, cutlery, tablecloth and serviettes, and cleaning stuff. The upper-level pool and grassed area was great for the dogs too. A perfect mid-way stop if you are on your way down to or coming back from the Garden Route or the Cape. Will definitely book again.
