The owner had made contact some weeks before my arrival and was able to provide me with information on possible restaurants and places to visit in the Worcester and Rawsonville area.
We had a very nice stay.
The guest house is not well located. Rawsonville (the town) is not a tourist destination. The marketing photos create a false image of the facilities. The rate per night is too expensive for what the guesthouse offers. No air conditioning, limited DSTV package. Limited recreational facilities.
The stay at Rawsonville Guest House was awesome. New owners. Thank you very much, Lisa, for the service given. We will definitely be back for more. The garden is immaculate.

The staff we received were friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean and tidy, but although it is a non-smoking facility, it smelled of smoke. The bed is comfortable and the bedding is clean. The TV package has no sports, which was disappointing as the Rugby World Cup was being played. There was no table inside the cottage at which we could eat, although there was a table behind the bed, but chairs could not fit there. There was an extra bed that is not shown in the photos. I would have preferred the table to be in the position of the bed. There was a garden set, but due to the weather we couldn't sit outside.
The room was basic. Parking space was a problem. Found ants in the kettle so opted not to make tea. Overall, I didn't enjoy the stay.
Beautiful, neat and clean room. Lovely warm bed with electric blanket was very welcome on freezing evening.
It was a pleasant stay. It felt like we were visiting grandparents. The shower was wonderfully hot, and the garden is an absolute feast to sit in and relax.
Accommodation was perfect, clean and tidy, well located. Kobus was very accommodating with times and even replenished milk etc. The men were very happy with their stay there.
Have a nice picnic in the winelands!! Pool was a winner in the heat.
We had a very nice stay, but would like to suggest that they give the visitors a load shedding schedule. Had a little trouble getting hair dry for a wedding.
Both my wife and I wanted to bath the one evening and no warm water was available as the other 6 quests in the guest house used up all of the warm water. This issue has been brought to the attention of management but with no response.
We had a few requests that were not part of our stay beforehand and these were dealt with and solutions were offered.
We really enjoyed the beautiful house and garden and neat and comfortable bedroom (in the heat a standing fan would be welcome, please).

Scenic and relaxing sanctuary.
The electric blanket was a plus in the cold, especially with snow on mountain peaks. Alice was very nice and helpful.
I was received kindly and even the heater was already switched on in my unit, neat and clean facilities, will book again.
Space is too small to tell everything but, Rawsonville Guest House is the ideal place to find yourself again in the busy life. And the kindness and hospitality of Alice simply deserves many more visits.
Garden cottage is a separate outside room. Very neat and felt at home. Simple, but there is everything you need.
We did not use the pool because the water was dirty. Upon arrival, we discovered that the DStv was not on, and basically could not watch TV. However, we tried to make the best of something bad. For example, it would be appreciated if we were communicated in advance that the DStv was off, so that other alternatives could be used, especially because children watch television.
Will definitely stay there again. Very organized and on time with breakfast. Enough facilities to facilitate everything.

The rules say no children near the pool, but no children can be booked at the guest house. We had to make other arrangements with our 2 year old boy. Guest house is beautiful and neat. Couldn't find an error. Beautiful views of the mountains and backyard with swimming pool.

Beautiful old house and a friendly reception by the Kritzingers. The spacious rooms and bathrooms are extremely tasteful and well appointed (with the exception of clothes hangers in the closets, of which there were too few). We had a lovely stay there. The website is somewhat misleading regarding the inclusion of breakfast so we took this as a given. However, this was not the case and would have to be specially arranged at our request.

The house has large, cool rooms and nicely equipped bathrooms. The best for me was the beautiful garden where we could drink nice coffee and discover and enjoy the plants. The house is conveniently located near wineries and other tourist attractions with a view of the surrounding mountains with the farm neighbors' vineyard in the foreground. Furthermore, it is still affordable too.

The stay was good. The apartment is very private with its own entrance. It is also fully equipped for cold weather. A recommendation is a list of places to eat in the area, especially in winter when all the restaurants are not open. A pamphlet about the Breë River Valley can also come in handy.
The guest house is in a quiet area not far from the town or staff. Neat inside and out with free WiFi. Spacious room and bathroom. Atmosphere is amazing.

It was lovely staying here. I especially enjoyed the friendliness of the hosting family. Thank you for keeping the yard so clean and neat. Since I am an avid reader, I especially enjoyed the silence. We could sleep late in the morning on clean bedding. The flourishing plants and the chickens gave character to our holiday. We work very hard the entire year and the atmosphere was a lovely contrast to the busy lives we currently lead.
We enjoyed the two days we stayed there. Neat and clean with friendly service. The swimming pool was such a treat on warm days.

The Guest House is an beautiful old house with a well kept garden. The hosts, Gaby and Erika were amazing, extremely helpful and always friendly. Our room was very adequate and had everything that had been promised, and the breakfasts were also superb. All in all a very good stay and would recommend it to anyone in the area!
