There is also the Mountain Lodge with the 3 self-catering units. The units share the use of a communal covered patio with a built-in braai and a separate fire pit, as well as a swimming pool, and a Jacuzzi.
The Mountain Lodge units are equipped for self-catering and have a patio, a built-in braai, and private parking. The units share the use of a communal swimming pool with a gazebo, a Jacuzzi, a boma and a Lapa. Laundry facilities are available on request.
Each of the units has a private entrance, and they are furnished with queen-size beds or 2 single beds, as well as en-suite bathrooms. Tea-and-coffee-making facilities are available in all the units and some of the units have kitchens that are equipped with fridges, microwaves, stoves and ovens. Smoking is not allowed in the units.

The hiking trails were fun and well-maintained, offering beautiful views. Plus, the place was very accommodating for pets, which made our stay even better. Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

The facilities were of the highest standard, clean and tidy. The owners and their staff are very hospitable and very hands on. There is even a small shop at reception where you can get what you need if you forgot something at home. Remhoogte is close enough to Hartebesspoort dam for a day trip and far enough to enjoy farm life in silence.

We were pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness, cleanliness and tasteful furnishings of the accommodation. Also private braai area with view of the mountain and front porch with view of the valley. Truly a pampering getaway opportunity.

The accommodation was excellent - clean, modern, and spacious. We also took the breakfast deal, and this was well worth it. We were looking for a very peaceful environment, and this was delivered! Our host was very accommodating. We will be staying again.

We had a good stay for the night in order to attend a nearby wedding. The room was mostly clean and comfortable, just had a bunch of dead mosquitoes in the bed when lifting the covers, which was a bit gross. I would advise management to ensure that beds are clean before guests' arrival. Otherwise, it was good value for money and a comfortable stay.
Very friendly, good service welcomes you upon your arrival. The beautiful gabled cottage has everything you need. The Jacuzzi and pool were clean and well located.
So often when you book a getaway, you are nervous as to how the reality will compare to the beautiful photos used in the advertisement. We were so very pleasantly surprised, as the reality surpassed the advertisement. Our weekend home was tasteful and elegant, from the teaspoons to the beautiful linen and decor in the rooms. The peace and quiet of the surroundings were enhanced by the serenity inside the unit. Small touches like an emergency load shedding kit and fresh milk in the fridge make you feel welcomed. We enjoyed our stay and will most certainly visit again.

We stayed in a lovely house for a family of 4. Beautifully furnished with good quality linen, good mattresses, as well as kitchen crockery. The house was very clean and tidy. The location is very good and safe. Power outages are managed with a generator. A delicious buffet breakfast is served. The owners are friendly and helpful.

The unit we had was very spacious and clean with little extras like fresh milk in the fridge for coffee and tea (which was also supplied). The outside was just as luxurious with a jacuzzi, swimming pool, gas braai and a lovely lapa. Can't wait to go back again.

The accommodation was fantastic.
Remhoogte is well equipped for large groups. The owners were extremely friendly and professional. They made us feel welcome, handled every request but also stayed out of our hair when required. Keep in mind that the rooms are situated in 2 separate areas, mountain rooms being situated +- 1 km up the dirt road from the bottom rooms.
The owner upgraded us free of charge to a larger unit with a fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining room. He stopped by every morning to see if everything was okay. Would recommend them anytime.
Our stay at Remhoogte was top notch. Place was clean and tidy. Hostess received us kindly and was kind enough to extend our check-out time without any extra charge. I definitely recommend Brake Height. Only negative comment is the road to the residence is very bad.
