This 505-hectare lodge comprises 2 units. The main Lodge House can accommodate 9 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms each with its own en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet, while the rest of the bathrooms are fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Die main bedroom has a king-size bed and 2 single beds, and the other bedrooms are furnished with either single or queen-size beds. This unit boasts a living area with comfy couches and a TV with a full selection of DStv channels that is open-plan to the kitchen that is equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery, tea- and coffee-making facilities as well as a centrally located breakfast island and an 10-seater dining table where guests can enjoy their meals. The lodge can be booked separately or together with the 4 safari rooms and has its own swimming pool, sun deck, and boma braai. The Safari rooms also have their own thatch self-catering Lapa with a boma braai and swimming pool, and can also be rented separately. This unit has access to the communal thatch Lapa area that has a kitchen fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, basic crockery, and cutlery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The wildlife that enters the lodge area during the day can be viewed up close. The crackling campfire in the evening twilight can let guests' minds wander on the horizon of a real African sunset.

Magnificent and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking.
It's a very nice house, very chilled. Everything about that house is exquisite.
It was an amazing stay and refreshing, though there was no signal. But it helped us to be away from the usual routines. The owner made us feel welcome, no disturbance at all. The game drive was amazing .

It was a great stay. The place is beautiful and open inside and outside. We were surrounded by nature and friendly animals. The owners were very kind and responded so quickly to our everyday needs. I would definitely go back again.

This is a perfect place to go and escape from all the hustle and bustle of the city. It is so peaceful. We woke up to the view of impala grazing next to the fence line just outside of our window. So special! The owners are friendly and accommodating.

The staff was friendly every morning they came to check on us that showed how they value their clients. All I can say is I’d love to go back for round 2.
The 4 km dirt road to the lodge deserves attention. More can be done to make the stay for guests more comfortable during load shedding. The pump that pumps water to the room is dependent on electricity. As a result, the water pressure is down and it is not possible to dump or use water during load shedding. It would also be useful to provide guests, as far as possible, with a load shedding schedule, as there is not strong mobile phone reception for guests to download the schedule themselves.
Friendly, warm and hospitable reception by the owners themselves (Annie and Bertus are two dear, caring people). They went out of their way and went the extra mile to make it as convenient and pleasant as possible for us. We stayed in the Safari Lodge, which is not very luxurious, but very comfortable, neat and clean. Sommer immediately felt at home. We just wanted to stay there and not go back home.

We use a lot of sleep to book places for a weekend away and I have to say, this place was definitely 1 of our top 5. The house is stunning. We had such a good time. The lodge is not your typical bush accommodation. It is modern and well-equipped with everything you could need in a beautiful location. The hosts are the friendliest and most helpful people you could meet. They went above and beyond for us and really made our stay worth every cent. Thank you to Bertie and Annie for your hospitality, we will definitely be back soon.
