46 guests' feedbackThere were some cockroaches walking around the room. The place did not feel clean. Thank goodness the bedding was white so I could see to sleep clean. The service was excellent.

Do not stay on ground floor. Road side also noisy. Otherwise all fine.

The Road Lodge's location is good but the rooms are not value for money. The vending machine didn't work either and the price of the breakfast is too much.
The breakfast was fantastic, my grandchild moved around in the corridor where we slept without his grandma getting paranoid. It really is a beautiful place and the fact that the shops are so close makes it even more enjoyable. Thank you very much for everything. You deserve your 5 stars all the way.

Rooms are always clean, friendly service and just what one needs for a stay in the Cape.
The website did not tell them that I requested a ground floor room as I requested when I booked.
All that bothered was the ground floor which was a smoking floor. I could smell the smoke up to the second floor and since I'm not a smoker at all it bothered me.

Air conditioning not working, but accepted possibly due to load shedding. Do not wash milk in room for coffee/tea.
Maybe put a small fridge in the rooms.
Enjoyed staying there. The lodge just needs to adjust their TV channels.
I was there for business, but my husband and almost 2 year old son went together. The atmosphere is so peaceful and nice and the staff really care about their customers. My boy immediately felt at home and was not bored at all. The rooms are very clean and it has everything one needs. When we had to check out my little boy just fell asleep and they also offered that we could stay even longer until he woke up. Will stay there again for sure.

Customer service was top notch. Just have to sleep very lightly. Parked my car opposite my room. Guy then decided to lay against my car and smoke Hubbly Bubbly, it cost me then to pull away. Tried really hard to shut down, but other residents kept going until before 3. Room I can't complain about, but I really think security and persons responsible for maintaining peace of mind have a job.
Staff is very friendly and meals were delicious. Room was always neat and clean.

Found the receptionist by the name of Ronell, very friendly and helpful. Room and linen are fresh and clean. Meals were available at extra cost. Ideal place to stay over when visiting Cape Town for business.

Loved the rooms and everything was up to date. The only thing missing, was a mini bar freezer.
For a quick trip to Cape Town where our family surprised us with our visit and we didn't want to sleep with them it was very pleasant. Staff members are very friendly and it feels like your home. The room was clean and tidy.
