The guest farm offers beautiful views of the Cederberg mountain range, and guests can enjoy long country walks and magnificent scenery. Comfortable self-catering accommodation is offered in 3 unique cottages, spaced apart for privacy, and all with magnificent views and private rock pools.

Rockwood is located in a beautiful place - the light, the enormous blue sky, the red rocks, the openness and nature all around you is magical. The swimming pool at Wild Olive is also fantastic, like a rock pool but even nicer, and the garden and outdoor seating are wonderful. The only thing that was not ideal is the road that passes by very close and where trucks and cars roar. So it's not completely quiet. But the cottage itself and the surroundings are unbeatable.
It was very pleasant. Beautiful surroundings, birds, walks and our son could ride his bike.
Great weekend, everything nice and tidy. Hostess very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely go again.

The ideal getaway holiday home from the city to take in and enjoy nature again. The accommodation is well equipped and had everything we needed. They are set up for load shedding and the switchover to their own power system went flawlessly during the 2 times there was load shedding. The hiking trails are well marked and the stream and waterfall were running strong thanks to the good rain.
Rockwood Farm is truly amazing. Comforts of home with breathtaking scenery and so much to do for everyone! We had an amazing, memorable family gathering celebrating birthdays and an anniversary. Go and explore the farm, can highly recommend sunrise and sunset walks or just spending time on the verandah soaking in the sun with a good book or playing some games under the trees or on the lawn, take a dip to cool off. The stream next to the house kept our little granddaughter entertained for hours. Maybe consider adding a jungle gym and swings for children.

Environment is very peaceful and quiet. Host, Theresa, is só friendly and helpful. The units are extremely well equipped! No loadshedding! Theresa thought of everything when she did the units. Wildlife, sunset, sunrise, views and walking trails, just amazing. We can't wait for summer to go back!

We stayed at Rockwood Farm a few weeks ago. It was fantastic, the place has everything you need, including hot water bottles, heaters, and extra blankets. A great place in the mountains to get away for the weekend.

The surroundings are breathtaking, lots to do and see on the farm, especially the beautiful variety of proteas and other wildflowers. Totally relaxing, in the serene peace and quiet the farm has to offer. And the pet-friendly option is most welcome.

Rockwood is located on a wonderful piece of land. Water, rocks, well-tended gardens, nature conservation is practiced, very large variety of birds and peace and quiet. Hostess is a wonderful interesting person. Would go again, just longer than 2 nights.
Theresa was a lovely friendly host and the cottage was very comfortable in a totally unique setting. The walks and rock pools were unique and beautiful and best of all our dogs were very welcome.
Our family of 4 had a quick mid-week visit to Rockwood Farm. This was our 2nd visit, and definitely not the last! It's pet-friendly (our Staffie was with us), and the WiFi is fast enough if some work needs to be done. Lovely place!

We had a wonderful weekend relaxing, taking photographs, walking on some of the trails and admiring the beautiful rock formations and reflections in the dams. The gardens and lawns are a delight to behold. Theresa was such a lovely, bubbly person, and made us very welcome. We will definitely be back.

What a great find. The accommodation is great value for money, the host is friendly, and the views are out of this world. There are several hikes on the farm you can do too.
Theresa was very friendly and welcoming. Wild Olive Cottage was beautiful, clean and tidy and our dog enjoyed it too. What I would perhaps recommend is a braai bowl and a pinch grill otherwise there was everything you needed. Would recommend the farm to everyone and the hiking trails with the rock art are very beautiful.
