Excellent location. Perhaps upgrade linen and towels. Bit tired.

It was a great place to stay and we really enjoyed it. It is well set up with everything you need. Ardith had a sudden illness and the host went well out of their way to help us.
Communication regarding where to find the cottage, check-in times, etc. was very good. We would recommend Rosebury Cottage to anyone wanting to stay in Underberg.
Cottage is in great condition.
Basic necessities were in the chalet. The gas heater came in handy at night.
Sue and Douglas were great hosts, and communicated well with us. The flatlet was perfect for a short overnight stay, and had everything we needed. The road to get there isn't in a great condition, but our small car handled it without a problem.
The accommodation is located outside the town and is an apartment attached to the garage at the very back of the property. The rather steep and long driveway has not yet been completed - the last stretch consists of construction debris leveled like pavement. There is no TV or Wifi. The bathroom's layout leaves much to be desired. There is no mirror above the sink. The sink is placed so close to the toilet that a man has to measure and fit to use it. We never met the hostess. The key was left under the mat by the door. The heater ran out of gas the first night. It was fixed the next day. The car gate is lame and cannot be closed properly.
Friendly host. Comfortable and thoughtful extras like fresh milk, marmalade and biscuits. Roads in many KZN country towns are not in a good state but if you drive slowly they are navigatable. Maybe not good for a tiny car like an Atos in bad weather, but a medium size car will cope.
Very neat stay, sorry we had to cut it short.
Just a pity that the road there is bad.
Sue immediately arranged for a corkscrew and hangers. The handrail on the wall will make it safer to walk up and down the stairs. We would recommend Rosebury Cottage anytime. Sue also recommended a mechanic when asked.
Ice trays were unfortunately all empty. Bathroom light didn't work.

The cottage is tidy with a wonderful view and well located. The service was friendly and personal and the house well furnished. The layout is very practical and the large veranda is a winner.
