A lovely little studio cottage, very clean and well-equipped. We only stayed for a night and as small as it is, could easily stay for a few weeks. There are 360 views of the awesome landscape from every side. The dogs were happy with their garden too!

If you need rest for your soul, visit Rosendal. If you want to unpack, sit on your ass and do nothing, and just appreciate the terrible peace and quiet, visit Rosendal. If you want to see beautiful landscape, dirt streets and cattle roaming freely in the streets, visit Rosendal. If you want to drink coffee while two donkeys are waiting for you to feed them, visit Rosendal. If you want to meet farm people, down-to-earth people, farmers, people of the heart, visit Rosendal. What a great place! I hope not too many people hear about the gem. Then where we stayed, Rus and Dal. What a lovely place! New, clean, neat, stylish and has more than one needs. Mike, the host, feels like family, only too happy to help where he can. Great loving people. Mike, you will definitely see us again!

Because it is so quiet, one can do with a TV and also a table inside to eat at.
Stay in Rus & Dal was excellent. We had only briefly driven through Rosendal before, but this time it was wonderful to explore the whole town on foot. Restaurants are all excellent. Sorry the road between Senekal and Rosendal is so bad, but we just drove slowly and carefully and at the same time enjoyed the wonderful scenery.
