Was kindly received by the hostess. The house is well furnished with everything you need. You literally only bring your clothes and food. The house is nicely centrally located and close to several West Coast villages. We had a wonderful weekend and rested wonderfully and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Also received special treats, namely Easter eggs for the Easter weekend.
The house gives a nice feeling that you are by the sea. Very neat and clean. Had a good reception and would definitely recommend to people looking for tranquility.
Thank you very much for the hospitality and nice stay with you. We booked both cottages, one for us and the other for my ma'le, and it was ideal. Your care and involvement with my baby girl and your horses was unexpected, and I must say, it was a great treat for her. Will definitely visit you again. Just a note, a mirror in the room for hair drying and makeup would be great. But we still managed and enjoyed the stay.
Host was very welcoming. Upon arrival everything was explained to us, and our stay was nice and relaxing. Great location. The hosts stay on the property; however, we didn't even notice it because we were given privacy throughout our stay. A very nice place indeed.

We had a wonderful stay. The house's living area is spacious and the indoor braai is a plus, especially with the weather that can turn so suddenly. The environment is peaceful, and the house is well located. The hostess is a wonderful person, we immediately felt at home. Will definitely be back.
Very neat accommodation, location is perfect if you want to get away from the hustle of city life. The accommodation had everything needed, even an air conditioning unit, which was very welcoming. It was a pity that some of the bedding had stains, and I was a bit disappointed when the host phoned me the day before I was supposed to leave to remind me that I had overstayed, as I was supposed to be out at 10:00. It was a misunderstanding on the host's part, but I didn't feel very good after that.
It was very nice, quiet, beautiful, 100% safe and secure. Would kindly recommend the accommodation to anyone.
Wonderful atmosphere.
We really enjoyed our stay at Rus en Vrede. The decor was stunning and the place has everything you need. The atmosphere is peaceful and the hostess was very helpful and friendly. We were sorry to go home!

Warm welcome and love. We had a wonderful time in this very peaceful environment with so much safe space, especially with small children.
Her service level was really good, and the accommodation and surroundings were a breath of fresh air. Exactly what we needed, and we will definitely come back and refer more people to them.
Pleasant and peaceful stay in a safe environment. An accurate representation of what we saw on arrival. The colour schemes in the place were very calming. I was very pleased with the indoor braai facility in the lounge; it was an awesome experience. I love the trampoline; it was great fun. Will definitely recommend the accommodation to a friend.

Very nice place, I would definitely recommend it. Daleen, the owner, received us very nicely and was very helpful. The only thing that put me off was the doors opening and closing a bit hard, if only they could pay attention to that, because we were stuck in the master bedroom for half an hour and it wouldn't unlock.
The location is fantastic. The master bed slept great. Neat, clean, the color scheme is great. just a pity our weekend was so short! We will definitely come back again.

Lovely getaway cottage by the sea for a small family. Close enough to all the shops and sea, but far enough if you want to escape the noise of the holidaymakers. The "farm atmosphere" with the horses is so beautiful. And there is enough space for the children to run around and play. All facilities are there, would only appreciate a washing machine. Thank you very much Daleen for your kindness, we will definitely come and stay at your cottage again.
From the time we disembarked to our return we were treated with so much respect and love. The owner gets a full 10/10 in terms of her hospitality skills, as well as human relations. The residence was perfect, as well as the location was a stone's throw from all places. We just felt a peaceful, calm free atmosphere, the place's name does itself justice. I would definitely recommend the place and definitely use their services again. Great, great and once again great service.
Everything was really perfect. We cooked and baked every evening and we had all the equipment and utensils we needed - and so much more! Nights were cold because of the inevitable sea breeze - but the blankets were more than enough and so snuggly and the indoor fireplace made it truly special. Daleen and Johan are amazing. The picture don't do the home justice. It's even more gorgeous.
