Had a very friendly reception.
The emergency light in our room did not work. We had to wait for the dining room to be opened before we could have breakfast. No coffee was served beforehand. We had to ask for coffee and only then it would be served. Breakfast was delicious. The kitchen staff can ramp up a bit on their service. It did not feel like a guesthouse, more like a hostel. It would be nice to get into the dining room and you can pour coffee yourself and maybe have a muffin or a scone while waiting for breakfast.
The staff made an effort with breakfast despite "load shedding" and a generator.
The property is well situated and within an easy walking distance to the restaurants and the shopping centre. The WiFi signal was poor, but this may have simply be the result of the regular Eskom loadshedding.
Neat, safe. There was a problem with water when we wanted to take a shower and left the faucet at the sink. Furthermore, everything was in great and neat, clean condition and very friendly and helpful. Quiet. No unnecessary noise at night. Located in the heart of Sabie.
Overall pleasant stay. Three points that would make future guests. 1. Water pressure is a big problem in the shower and bath - hardly any pressure. 2. Aircon by Unit 9 (could be Unit 8's aircon) makes an incredible noise for guests in Unit 9. 3. Invest in a coffee machine (Not sure if its currently broken) - but coffee wasn't from a machine. Otherwise nicely located and accommodating.
The place is beautiful, the staff is patient and very friendly and their food is great.

I wanted to drive in the morning at 05h30 but then the gates were locked and there was no contact number anywhere to call to unlock the gate. I was then only able to get out at 06h30. I was too late the night before to arrange to drive early because the office was already closed. But I would stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. It was very comfortable and the location of the place is a plus. It's close enough to town to just take a walk. Can definitely recommend it. Only negative for us was that there wasn't a pool, but it wasn't too bad as we were out all day.
The workers are very friendly and helpful, the room is tidy and the air conditioning helps a lot because Sabie was very hot. The guest house is centrally located and within walking distance of everything. Would stay there again anytime.
Access to rooms via a narrow corridor round outside of the building with steep steps. The finish of rooms was poor with cement lifting off floors door to bathroom difficult to close and torn curtains Drive way gate not secured had to push open and close as motor not working. Restaurant / bar uninviting with vinyl sets torn.
The manager went to great lengths to make my stay comfortable and work around my schedule.

Other than the night life across the street I can't complain. The room was clean, tidy and the staff were friendly and hospitable.

I'll recommend the accommodation anytime. The rooms are very neat and the staff are helpful. Secure parking, and walking distance from shops and restaurants. They could maybe consider providing small soap and shampoo. And then there also isn't a holder above the basin for your toothbrush or toothpaste. 'n Soap holder can also be installed next to the bath. The bed is fantastic!
The room's floor is painted, the water pressure is very weak and for 2 days there was no hot water. Across the street there is a night club or something that makes it almost impossible to sleep music and people screaming and shouting. Be prepared to stand up if you want to change the DStv channel. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the place. It is excessively expensive for what you get.
I would highly recommend the place to all travelers.
I will not stay there again. The breakfast is included, but limited to R100. You are told about the R100 per person, although they give you the menu. Shower is poor. Can't get to the sink because the door opens in front of the sink. The bed is queen size, but is short and my feet hang down. For the same rate we can stay at the Royal Hotel in Pilgrimsrus and there are no surprises.
It's a cute place to spend the night. It offers good value for money, it's clean and tidy.
Rooms are tastefully furnished. There is DStv and air conditioning in the rooms. There was friendly service and welcome upon our arrival.
3 Wonderful nights. Very clean and new. Bar fridge would have been nice to keep drinks cold. 3/4 beds should be kept seaparate because the duvet is too small when the beds are pushed together. Not enough space to hang clothes and also towels in bathrooms. Would prefer that the bathroom light doesn't switch on and off automatically. Owner should advertise restaurant with big sign at the parking area.
Enough parking, friendly reception. We had a good stay.
