6 guests' feedbackIt was quite nearby to Kruger Phabeni Gate but the area was not very attractive. Rooms were quite good size and with AC and hence had a nice sleep. The attached bath was good but could have been much cleaner. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. Overall, a nice place for a night halt.
The units are nice and far apart and private. The two-bedroom we lived in was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Perhaps crockery and cutlery could get some attention. Overall a great time
No soap provided at all. Arrived on a rainy afternoon to no electricity for an hour (perhaps not their fault but no explanation or apology offered). No water or ice in the fridge. Linen is old and did not smell clean. Generally place needs a refurbishment.
We had a wonderful stay and were kindly welcomed. Sand River Cottages are clean and peaceful. My children really enjoyed the climbing frame and trampoline. Perfect place to stay as a day visitor to the Kruger National Park.
We booked to stay at Sand River Cottages as a one-night stopover on our way to the Kruger National Park. We were so impressed by the cottages and would not hesitate to recommend this as a place to stay. Thank you to the Shabangu family for their warm welcome!
We had a very nice stay. The units are private, clean and tidy.
