Nestled into the fynbos which provides privacy from the main house, the cottage comprises 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and the second bedroom contains 2 single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. The unit also has a sleeping nook with a three-quarter bed matres for an older child that is accessed by a small set of stairs. The rooms share the use of a bathroom with a shower and for convenience, linen and bath towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table under the pergola on the verandah.
Guests can relax in the lounge which opens onto the covered verandah which overlooks the ocean, and is equipped with gas braai facilities.
Secure parking is provided behind a gate next to the cottage. The main house's driveway runs next to the cottage, but does not compromise the privacy of the cottage. Free Wi-Fi is available, and the cottage is equipped with an alarm system.
Betty's Bay offers various activities such as sandboarding, swimming, surfing, walking and hiking trails, as well as various restaurants. Guests can also visit the Harold Porter Botanical Garden or the penguin colony at Stony Point.

A proper break by the sea. Rush of the waves that welcome you every day. Beautiful!
Nicely decorated, high quality level of furniture and utilities.
We like the proximity of the sea, the sound of the sea and the beautiful view - especially at sunset. This is our beloved "Corner House". My favorite corner for vacation and the best medicine for a tired soul.
Seascape is a really lovely two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage. It is situated as close as one can get to the beach and the balcony area has a fantastic view of the silver sands beach. The beach is just a short walk through the dune fynbos. The two bedrooms on the ground floor are quite spacious and very nicely appointed, both have doors to a pocket handkerchief garden in the front of the property. There is a nice bathroom with a large shower. There is a little alcove that accommodates a bed that could be used by a small adult/child. Upstairs there is a large room, that leads onto a significant balcony. This functions as an open-plan dining room, kitchen and lounge. Nicely furnished. Along the one side of the room is the kitchen area, with granite surfaces and a lovely gas oven, big washing space, dishwasher, lots of cupboards and shelves. The equipment provided for food preparation is really comprehensive and there wasn't anything that I could not find. On the corner of the kitchen area there is a large fridge, freezer microwave and washing machine. The balcony area besides having a fantastic view has a small gas braai, some lovely garden furniture and a bench to sit at to eat food and watch the sun go down - really quite spectacular. This is a really fantastic beach cottage, very nicely appointed, in great position and quite spacious. There is an alarm system for those who are worried about safety. There is good Wi-Fi – that operates even during load shedding, this was useful as our cell phone reception was not great. We had one slight hiccup in that the sliding gate was open when we arrived but got closed the next day. It needs quite a strong hand to open- there is no gate motor attached. I would not recommend this cottage for a large family but it would suit a 2/3 child family very nicely (or two couples).

We really enjoyed the beautiful decor and lovely veranda with sea view. The only point of criticism is that we didn't realize the geyser was set to the solar setting and because it was a cool weekend we took a cold shower the first night. It wasn't until the next morning that we realized we had to turn on the geyser switch at the electrical board.
Will return and recommend.
The location is exceptional, the accommodation exquisite and beautiful, and the owners dear and friendly! The relaxing atmosphere and breathtaking view (especially at sunset) is the icing on the cake! Would love to go again.
