Had a nice stay, only the people on our side couldn't have behaved themselves. But was resolved in the end.
Wonderful views, beautiful setting. Just a pity the renovations weren't complete. The flat was not cleaned properly, but the bedding and linen were fresh and clean.
The views are the best, and we were upgraded to another unit that was big and excellent. Hopefully, when going back, they will upgrade us again to this unit.

Our neighbors always stayed at the accommodation during the December holidays and couldn't stop talking about their time there. We were upgraded to a larger sea view apartment. Thank you very much for that. However, the premises appear 'tired and tired'. Some of the towels and duvet covers (all white) had yellow stains. Our apartment's security gate was faulty, the master bedroom's bathroom door couldn't close. No emergency lights on the stairs or in the apartment in case of load shedding. Beds were comfortable though.

Reception was very nice and we upgraded to unit with sea view and were able to get key sooner. Unit was clean, but furniture cover was broken and dirty and carpets not clean. Very spacious and adequately equipped.
Will most definitely make use of Seashells Holiday Apartments again.

I was pleasantly surprised that we could walk directly onto the powdery beach. And the warm sea. Will definitely make use of Seashells in future.
We booked a room and didn't really know the turnover. It was load shedding when we arrived at their place and wanted to barbecue but couldn't see the sea. They moved us to a beautiful unit with a breathtaking sea view without any problems. It's so beautiful the children didn't want to go home. So then we decided to stay longer and they were only too happy to welcome us longer. Will definitely come back and tell everyone about the fantastic place with fantastic people.

Accommodarion was clean and very spacious. Close to the beach and shops. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Jeffrey's Bay.
Was expecting a ground floor unit onto the beach for the view, but got a unit on the second floor with no beach view. Lovely restaurant. Not much else to do. Would help if wood and water was available from reception or added to the apartments.
Value for your money.
We were offered a larger apartment with a sea view for the same price. The apartment is well equipped and also ideal for longer stays.

We were very well received and allowed to check-in earlier than normal time. Only complaint is that some of the doors do not fit well and therefore cannot close properly.
Second stay and very satisfied.
Two of the three toilet seats were very loose, and the one door's hinges were also loose and did not want to close at all for privacy - one next to the lounge - not the main bedroom, furthermore very neat and quiet. We were 5 adults and enjoyed the stoep and the sea view.
The unit was very luxurious and beautifully clean, everything was there that we needed. The people are simply incredible, I will undoubtedly book there again. Everything at our disposal (gym etc.) was spotless. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

It was our first time in Jeffrey's Bay and we are glad we chose Seashells. Apartment is spacious, staff is friendly, beach is walking distance. Enjoyed the stay very much, will definitely return.
Our apartment, no. 5, was nice and spacious, 3 nice bedrooms with two full bathrooms. The unit was cleaned every day. Kitchen was tidy, but the appliances did not work. The stove door couldn't close, the washing machine was broken and the tumble dryer was also broken. This has been brought to their attention, so hopefully the next guests benefit from working kitchen equipment.

We were a group of friends who stayed for two nights and all agreed that the accommodation was top class. Everything you need with the most beautiful sea view and nicest patio. Large rooms and the kitchen are equipped with everything one needs. Would stay there again anytime.
When I finished checking in and just wanted to relax after my ride to JBay, I heard the noise down the hall and went to see where it was coming from. It was in one of the rooms where there was a lecture going on. Reception informed me that it seems to be a Xhosa lesson that is offered there for people. If only they could have closed the door it would have helped. Then, the WiFi codes are not available anywhere in the unit - one has to go down again and ask at reception. It is written down on a piece of paper, just very unprofessional people. The TV is outdated and not a joy to watch at all. Will not go back.
Friendly and welcoming reception. Beautiful sea views from the main bedroom. Lovely restaurant on the seafront that serves a really good breakfast. Safe parking. Washing machine in apartment came in really handy.
The unit is very comfortable, private, clean, tidy and has a fantastic view of the sea. However, some attention is needed to the blinds in the master bedroom, which are not to our liking and should be replaced. Curtains and lace curtains would be more practical and would ensure more privacy than the half-broken blinds that do not close properly. The rest of the apartment is very modern and tasteful and would recommend it anytime.

Had a lovely unit, much bigger than expected. Everything very clean, reception very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Did notice that general renovation was needed, but also realized that times are hard and funds may not be available. That said, would recommend the place anytime for a lovely holiday.

We stayed in the Penthouse unit. The view is absolutely breathtaking! The unit is delightfully private and spacious with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely open plan living area that is very well furnished. The patio area (with braai) is a great treat - especially for watching the dolphins and whales. However, the complex could do with a better restaurant. Would rather have breakfast elsewhere in the future.
We had a lovely visit. The view is breathtaking and the waves is food for the soul. We enjoyed the large bathtub in our bedroom. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Seashells for 2 nights during the March 2016 school holidays. The location with regard to the sea and also nearby shops (Checkers and Super Spar) for necessities was within a convenient 5 minute walk. The accommodation (no.18) was comfortable, spacious, clean and tidy. Further highlights were the laundry and ironing service at R15 per kg, secure covered parking and the on-site restaurant. The breakfast and lunches are reasonably priced and well worth it. Friendly staff round everything off nicely.

It was a very nice experience for me and my girlfriend. I would go back again anytime and stay for longer. The view is extremely beautiful and the rooms were also very clean and of high quality.
We were disappointed as the double bed we booked was not the one we got.
The whole experience was painless and pleasant. After riding 230 km through the Baviaanskloof on a mountain bike we arrived at Seashells in the middle of the night and tired... and it was really pleasant and convenient... we could rest to travel back again in the morning to Pretoria. Thanks to LekkeSlaap and the management of Seashells. We will be back again and maybe for a longer time.

My wife and I were looking for a neat place to stay with a sea view for a few days and found everything we were looking for.
The apartment is lovely, the staff friendly and helpful. The curtains in the 2 bathrooms were very dirty. The shower in the main bedroom was also not very clean. There were broken garden furniture and excess furniture stacked in the braai room. The braai room was also not properly cleaned.
I was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful apartment, best sea view ever and very luxurious!
It was a nice vacation. Awning on porch needs urgent fixing. When the wind blows it plays with the roof tiles so you can't sleep.
