"I reported that the geysers were flooding the ceilings and they didn't return all my money back from Dec until now."

I paid a full deposit and was told them geysers flooded through the ceiling and was not given all my money back.

Due to the location, we were skeptical upon arrival, but our expectations were exceeded.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay! The place was perfect for the 2 of us, we had our own privacy, the breakfast was top notch, the room very tidy and the host was so friendly! It was like visiting friends, he made us feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

They don't take out rubbish bins, you will find your bed exactly how you left it in the morning when you come back. What a turn off. I mean, what is that?

Good value for money. Very well positioned to visit Sun City or area. Simple, honest, neat, professional. TV and good quality aircon was a welcome relief. Food and drinks in area are nice township style and affordable. Very safe. Host takes good care.

Hosts are very friendly and courteous. Breakfast is delicious. Location is very quiet and we felt very safe. Our room was quiet spacious too.

"Not a good guesthouse"

Sharon must go to other guesthouses to research the standard before she continues with business. It is not worth the money we paid. It was cold in the room, there was no shower cap, no DStv, the remote gate was not working and the breakfast was too oily.

"Stayed there one night for a conference at Sun City."

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. However, the following is negative: I was not offered coffee at breakfast. There was also no coffee or milk in my room and when I got there late at night I would have liked to make coffee. The small fridge and the bedside lamp did not work. Most people prefer a shower instead (there was a bath in my room). The paint peeling off in the room and parts of the bathroom are smeared with silicon and do not appear tidy. There was no sheet on the bed - just a duvet. I opened the windows because it was incredibly hot in the room, then the mosquitoes ate me up! I hate sleeping with air conditioning on, but had no choice and had to protect myself with a thick duvet and a cold air conditioner. So my night's rest was no wonder and then to stay awake all day in a lecture hall...

"My son decided not to sleep there that night."

I booked for my son, we asked for a room with 2 single beds and they got a double bed room. They didn't even sleep there at all, but decided to drive through the evening to Potchefstroom where they had a wedding the next day. I was very impressed with LekkeSlaap's service.

"It's good value for money and for a single night's stay only."

Our Samsung phone picked up the location, but not our GPS. On arrival we were shocked at the location as it's a few houses from a tavern in a poor area. On arrival at 12:00 we were greeted by the cleaner who said we can only book in after 14:00, I had to show her the website page to confirm we can book in at 12:00 - 22:00. There was no manager or any owner there to welcome us. Rooms were clean and breakfast was great. We had to ask for a key to lock our room when go out. No electric fencing around property, very noisy at night due to the tavern nearby, felt very unsafe driving back at night after the show at Sun City into the area to sleep. All doors are kept unlocked at night. Front door and sliding door weren't locked during the evening while sleeping, we had to lock it ourselves when we got back. We also had to ask for a remote as the cleaner laughed when we told her we will only be back 22:30. Bath has Jacuzzi jets that don't function, blinds are broken, half way through your long bath the bath drains through the open jets, no showers at all. Advertise a pool, but there was no pool. We survived the Night at least, but it's not a place to stay for a week. Nothing to do at the guest house except sleep or watch TV. No games room/pool.

"Decent stay"

The service was excellent but I believe they can improve their bathroom with regard to: towels being too hard, no foam bath, no bath soap, no hand cleaning detergents. We also found it strange that there was no ironing board inside the room but one in the passage.

There is no pool as advertised and it is not where I would normally go to sleep. The bath water takes 1 hour to pour in in the mornings. The food was pleasantly prepared, but there is not a great variety at all.

IT was an okay stay, but vary wary of the area. I feel there should be a variety of breakfasts to choose from, so that you don't eat the same food everyday. Also there should be hairdryers in the rooms. I feel the facility could do with a small play area for kids like a splash pool & jungle gym.

The accommodation, the breakfast and the customer service were nice but the place was very difficult to find.

They need to work on training staff. Breakfast was terrible but rooms were clean and comfortable. Area was noisy.

I did not like the area where the guest house is located. I almost turned around and left but it ended up to exceed my expectations. Loved the aircon and bed very comfortable with mini bar fridge and everything else you need for one night's stay. Don't expect a good TV reception or DSL. Only one channel, etv was available. Breakfast very basic. Asked for two eggs sunny side up, got one egg overcooked, with some bacon and garnish on the side. If you keep your expectations low you may end up not being disappointed if you stay here. For an overnight stay, not too bad after all.

Please consult guests on how they like their eggs, or let guest dish out for themselves, as we felt your breakfast was very limited (one egg, one sausages etc) which we felt was not enough. Otherwise, a good stay.

When driving to the Sharons, we got a call to say that there was a problem with our accommodations, but Debra had managed to get us into a different B&B that was just down the road from Sharon's B&B. The other B&B, Diphororo, was very nice. We were met by Mooks, who was incredibly helpful and has a future being a concierge, I'm sure. So, there was a problem, Sharon's came up with a more than adequate solution, and we were also offered a discount for the inconvenience. Thank you Debra @ Sharons and Mooks @ Diphororo, it was a pleasure. Customer service was excellent!
