The place is a beautiful little quaint cottage. The bathroom finishes are immaculate and perfect for a romantic getaway. Quality bedding and a warm electric blanket was provided. The check out time is just a little bit early could be an hour or so later.

It was a nice warm sleep on a cold night. Real genuine Free State hospitality experienced there. Will definitely stay there again.
Attention to detail, even a "did you forget something"? box. Milk in the fridge. Full TV bouquet. Lovely hot shower. Piet provided extra, secure parking space for our camping trailer.
The environment is very peaceful with a nice garden and with the premises on solar and battery power there was no load shedding. The guest house is neat, clean, beautiful and inviting. Our hosts were friendly and helpful ─ 'introduced' the guest house to us and served us with advice ─ places to eat, etc. We rarely saw them, but we prefer it that way. Our vehicle was safe and covered. The apartment/guesthouse was also well secured ─ an annex to the residence. The kitchen is also well equipped (including an Airfryer). We were also provided with 2 liters of drinking water. I personally like the enough cupboards and storage space (2 hanging cupboards) ─ I don't like living out of a suitcase and packing everything away ─ At home far from home! All the negatives I can mention are that the guest house gets little direct sun (not until late afternoon) and therefore can be a bit cold during the day in the winter ─ in the summer it will be nice and cool. I would also recommend that the double bed mattress may need to be replaced. My husband and I are big/heavy people. Probably our problem. I really enjoyed my break and I can recommend Six Second Avenue Guest House with peace of mind.

This spacious garden flat had everything we needed to be comfortable and do self-catering. Some good rusks and biscuits were supplied with the tea and coffee. We were pleased to have good Wi-Fi, and electricity during power outages, because they have solar power too.

The rooms were larger than we expected and were immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. We had a private garden which added to the sense of peace and quiet. The owners were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. They were available whenever we needed their assistance, but were not at all intrusive. We are already planning our next visit to Six Second Avenue and feel that we have found our future "go to" place.

Parys is a breathtaking town on the Vaal River and the place where we spent the night was picture perfect. The couple who own it really went out of their way and made so much extra effort for us. They even had a camping cot where my little girl could sleep. The garden is stunning and we took beautiful pictures there. Truly an unforgettable experience.
