The accommodation is easy to reach and the owners go to great lengths to make sure guests have everything they need. They can even leave food from their restaurant's menu in the room, which helps a lot if you are traveling a long way and then don't need to prepare any more food. The coffee is also a nice treat.

The room was everything we needed for a night's stay. Straight forward to get in, neat and tidy and clean. Well thought out with the basics in the kitchen and even Netflix on the TV. I did not specifically ask for a cot for my little one but arrived at one already set up for her ─ which is a nice touch and thoughtful. The coffee left for us was even their own roast which is again a lovely touch to the stay.

What a welcome rest place in a very peaceful setting. We were welcomed with a delicious meal which we simply had to warm. Our room was beautifully decorated and we had a lovely peaceful night's rest. A beautiful, pet-friendly place with well-equipped self-catering rooms and a wonderful restaurant. At night one can sleep without the city's traffic noise. And provision has been made for when Eksdom shuts down the power. Will visit Snobs again anytime I pass by again.

Apart from the fact that Snobs Coffee Roastery and Rooms is close to the highway which makes an overnight stay ideal, it is clean, neat and one of our favourite stayovers. The food is divine and the coffee is amazing. Apart from this, the hospitality is superb. Stay here. Don't think twice.
Snobs Coffee Roastery and Rooms offers everything one needs for a night's sleep on the way between the Cape and Gauteng. It is neat and safe. Cars are parked behind a gate that is locked at night. Rooms, bathroom and kitchenette are neat and well equipped. Braa facilities are a loose braai which is a bit tired, so it could be improved.

You don't expect much when you drive into Trompsburg. It looks like many other villages in the county. But get ready for a special experience. The accommodation is clean, painstakingly neat and comfortable. Willem is the perfect host. And on top of everything, he roasts his own coffee! Last time we were so impressed with Snobs' coffee that we just wanted to stay this time. Good choice! Location is great, close to the halfway mark between the Cape and Johannesburg. Pleasant room, Rustic Farm Chic style, clean with all required amenities. Coffee was good too. Great for overnight stay. Do not follow Google Maps, Drive past the BP garage to the town main road and turn left and let google guide you from there. Other routes are virtually impassable.

What a beautiful, neat skip spot! For our family of 6, the 2 apartments were ideal. For any coffee lover, this is the place on the N1. Willem and Miza are friendly, helpful and made sure we ordered dinner before heading to the kitchen. Willem was also able to give a quick instant coffee briefing. Even if we don't have to sleep over next time, I will definitely stop by Trompsburg to buy a coffee.

What a little gem after a long day of travel from Cape Town. So quiet, with loads of birdlife teeming around the bottom of the garden. The view from the kitchen window presents miles of rolling grassland. and quiet. Willem, the owner of Snobs Roastery, was so welcoming and has created a coffee oasis in Trompsburg, an unlikely but delightful spot with good WiFi and great coffee.
We had an incredibly nice overnight stay. Our 4-year-old enjoyed the climbing frame and sand pit immensely, and baby sister could enjoy her nap peacefully and safely in the provided cot. The friendliest people, so hospitable. This will remain our first choice for an overnight stay when we return to the Western Cape. Safe, spacious unit, spotlessly clean with everything you need, after the long drive with little ones in the car for so long, the tranquility was exactly what we needed! Called to see if we wanted to order meals for the evening and the dishes were exceptional. A plus as the town didn't seem to have any places to eat. Since Trompsburg is not exactly a restaurant mecca, I ordered the spinach quiche for dinner. They delivered it to my room - fresh from the oven. It's really delicious. The room is spacious and sparkling clean. It's a good bed and I slept great. The owner came to find out if everything was in order and was very friendly. I honestly can't say anything negative about my stay there. I sleep over there again on my way back.

Country atmosphere meets rustic yet modern home design. Interior is particularly beautiful. Crisp linen and towels. Everything is clean and in order. Great setup if you travel with animals and/or children. Very glad I skipped Bloemfontein and spent the night here instead.
