The venue is ideally suited for group booking's such as reunion's, family get together's, golfing groups and company team building session's.

There were a few comments that a few updates to the place would really increase its value - but it wasn't anything that negatively impacted our stay. We travelled as a family group with teens and young children and nobody felt uncatered for .
I'm in utter awe of Laurence's hospitality, he made sure myself and my friends were well looked after. Went over and beyond to ensure we were looked after, even our driver was well looked after. Beautiful lodge with so much to take in.
Very clean, tidy and laid out.
There is a lack of a large freezer near the bar to put meat in, the fridge in the kitchen is too small for 16 people. 1 or 2 private toilets would also be appropriate.
We were all so pleased with this venue! The rooms were fantastic and clean, and the entertainment venue was great!
The place creates a nice cozy atmosphere and is ideal for a group of people or family who want to hang out. The rooms are neat and cozy and the common facilities such as the kitchen, bar and relaxation area are well laid out. The rooms are a bit cold in the winter, but the electric blankets help a lot. Hot water is always available for bathing and showering at sufficient pressure and volume. The owner/manager is always friendly and makes people feel very comfortable and at home.
We had a great time and every need of us as a group was catered for by the owner. I would definitely recommend the place for small family/friend groups.
This is the perfect place for a large group of friends or family. Nice, neat, clean and spacious rooms. Large living area and well-equipped kitchen. Area is very nice with nice swimming pool. The service is fantastic and so friendly. Personal service from Hennie and his wife. We will definitely go again!

What a wonderful getaway. Totally too short for a weekend! A thousand thanks Hennie and Ronel for your hospitality this weekend, we couldn't have asked for anything better. All under one roof! We had a family getaway at Sparrow Hawk Lodge this weekend. We were 11 adults and 4 small children. The lodge met all our needs and more. Everyone could have their own private room and bathroom. The children could play and ride bikes without us knowing about them or that there was danger. Nice barbecue/fireplace, table tennis, darts and big screen TV for everyone's enjoyment. It's beautiful and private and wonderful like that in nature. Thanks again, we will use you again and recommend to everyone.

Beautiful place and friendly owners. Although the dirt road is in a bad condition, the view and accommodation makes up for that. We had a lovely peaceful evening!
The atmosphere of the lodge is very peaceful. Nice getaway for silence. Hennie and his wife most hospitable. Helped to help with unplanned barbecue. It was really lovely to have stayed there. Would recommend it to anyone who is just looking for that peace and quiet to just break away from the city's noise and hustle and bustle.

Very good layout of accommodation and exceptional friendly service from Hennie. Well suited as an overnight stop for a group get-together like a family reunion. As a city slicker, the rooster's crowing was something to get used to that early in the morning!
Nice accommodation would be even nicer in a group. Very good tariffs, nice and clean. The final stretch of the gravel road is not advisable for normal vehicles. We will definitely stay here again.
