Nice Place to Stay. Clean and staff very polite and helpful.
Staff are super helpful while proprietor keenly engaged and very knowledgeable about the area. Delightful additional activities easily arranged through the lodge under the expert and personal guidance of the proprietor.
At R 1 800 per night for a dirty shower, stained bath, rusty grill and little kitchen equipment, as well as no hot water the first day, it is poor value for money. Owner tries to make amends by giving us a complimentary basket of goodies. It doesn't help. Don't think the room looks like it does on the web page. No four poster bed and much more simple.
The Ocean View Cottages are fantastic. A beautiful view was the icing on the cake.
Cottage 1 is the best for honeymooners! Wonderful stay. Highly recommended.
We had a sea view room, which was picture perfect. Kian's knowledge on the night safari is incredible. The cruise on the lake was so special and we got very close to the manatees. Also grilled and the kitchen provided us with salad at a very reasonable rate. Anna's breakfast was fantastic.
Accommodation was a short distance from the sea's swimming beaches but not far from the city centre, but unfortunately there is no secure parking for customers. There is a night guard.
We hated it. The manatees in the road in front of the lodge made it special for us.
It was an excellent experience, especially the sea views from our veranda.
Would gladly recommend this to my friends. As a motorcyclist, this is one of my top 5 places to stay.
