Had a nice stay. Cute units. Only occasionally did not wash hot water, but that may be because most of the other units also used hot water at the same time. Dining facilities were not 100% clean. The scissor in the drawer had food on it, but otherwise no complaints. Beds, bathrooms and everything was nice and clean.
We stayed for a rugby weekend in the Paarl, location is convenient to hit all the beautiful places in a relatively small radius.
Very nice stay - had to attend sports at Stellenberg High School and could just walk to school. Ideal! Will recommend to guests. Just small recommendation - the towels are very small and maybe time for new ones. Dish soap in the unit would also be of value. The stairs to the bedroom were not a problem for us but may just need to be mentioned for future bookings - could be a problem for certain residents. Everything else is perfect!

We had a great stay at Stellenberg Lodge. Our accommodation was beautiful, the room is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The lodge is located in a lovely quiet area. We were well received by the owner. He is very friendly and helpful and provided an overview of the area, i.e. local shops and nearby the lodge.

It's not usually easy to give an overnight stay 5 stars for everything, but in this case it was. Perfectly located to reach any of the Northern Suburbs, not too far from Blouberg's coast and close enough to the N1 or R300 to get around easily. Nice quiet area, safe parking, comfortably furnished and with a host and hostess who make an effort to ensure your stay is perfect.

It was quiet and peaceful. The flat was very spacious. It is centrally located for the purposes of traveling to other towns. The only suggestion I have is perhaps a washing machine.

As we had booked for 4 adults, it would have been appreciated to have 4 glasses instead of 3 and 4 mugs instead of 3. Apart from this, we were happy. We were instructed to keep the unit clean; however, no cleaning materials (broom, dustpan, etc.) were provided.

Only stayed overnight but would definitely stop by again for more than just one night.
A heater or air conditioner will help with the moisture that builds up inside!
Unfortunately we experienced extremely freezing cold weather. The apartment is freezing cold with cold tiled floors, we asked for a heater but was told there were none available. Towels did not dry due to the cold weather - our damp towels were only replaced twice in our 7 day stay.

Located in a beautiful area close to shopping centers. We had to go to Stellenbosch and were able to quickly get on the N1.
Was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Elderly visitors should however refrain from staying in the Fountain room as there is a step leading downwards into the bedroom which can be dangerous.

The host contacted us by phone earlier in the day to confirm arrangements, welcomed us kindly and explained everything to us. Very comfortable stay. Wonderfully central - we visited Stellenbosch, Franschoek, Waterfront and Canal Walk. For two women traveling alone, the Lodge was safe.

Just an average room with no service. It is inconvenient getting from the parking to the room when raining. There was no air conditioning and the TV was poor.
Stellenberg Lodge was my abode for a week. It was the first time I laid eyes on the Cape and they made sure my first time was worth it. Exquisite place, wonderful atmosphere. I felt at home in no time. Without a doubt good value for money. Highly recommended.
The only problem we had with the accommodation, was that the oven did not work. We especially choose this accommodation because it has a kitchen and were not able to cook our food. We stayed for almost a week and they did not bring new toiletpaper or rubbish bags once. Otherwise, it was very nice and comfortable.
Easy to find and great location. Suibtable for holiday and business trip. Safe parking and tariffs are reasonable.

I will recommend it as overnight accommodation but not as self-catering accommodation. They should give the kitchen, cutlery and glasses some serious attention.

Very neat, spacious rooms with everything you need - even a swimming towel. The fans were sufficient for the moderate weather. Unfortunately not a dish for the TV and programs limited to the host's control.

If a bed doesn't sleep well, I don't go back to that place. The couch is also not suitable for the elderly. In the bathroom, the cold faucet was leaking. The shower's water control was very poor. In the kitchen, the geyser is too hot, it can only be turned off.
As a single traveler, you sometimes look for that extra companionship that TV offers you.
Felt very unwelcome within 2 minutes of arrival having spent the entire day travelling. Please put the disclosure online that should you not pay in full, no keys will be provided. It really felt like I was not being welcomed as a paying customer. So much so that I almost did not stay there. The shower had 2 temperatures boiling hot and ice cold which was also difficult to balance. There were no dishtowels for drying dishes. Despite above it was nice accommodation in a nice area.

Linen never replaced in the 10 days. Towels replaced only once. Bathroom still needs a mat. Trash cans in the bathroom cannot be opened. For safety, a light can be installed at the small passage gate. No toilet cleaners. The one power plug in the kitchen does not work. No fan. Only one dish towel. Only one pan in which to cook bacon and eggs. No ladles, sieve, wooden spoon, egg beater or mixing bowl. If one hangs towels over the wire, they are taken off and thrown on the ground ─ they are stuck with clothespins. If one has showered, the hot water is ready.
Stellenberg Lodge is conveniently located close to Cape Town and beaches such as Blouberg, Muizenberg, Hout Bay and Kalk Bay as well as the Stellenbosch area but also central enough to do business in other parts of Cape Town. The apartment was very neat and well equipped and the area in which it is located very quiet. Would definitely recommend to people who not only want to explore the beaches in and around Cape Town, but who also want to explore places inland around Cape Town.

I have over the years stayed in many self catering establishments and I rate this one of the best. From the personal attention given to the guests,the modern and friendly accommodation and the excellent location. My sons and my stay here was fabulous. We arrived as strangers and left feeling almost like family members.
Everything was clean and tidy and in working order. Maranda is a spontaneous and friendly hostess. We will stay there again in the future.
