Peaceful, relaxing and refreshing. I enjoyed the beautiful garden. Great place for a break from the busy city life. Will be back in the near future.
We had a great time but won't be going back. The place is cute, but nothing special. The house is well furnished (although there were only three teaspoons and the duvet cover had jic stains), but there is very little to do on the farm, and it is very close to the tasting room which negatively affects privacy. I would recommend this place as overnight accommodation but not for a relaxing weekend.
The cottage is more like a small house. Beautifully furnished with everything you need. Unfortunately, the wind blew gale force during our stay, so we couldn't fully appreciate the beautiful gardens and walking trails. The dirt road is very neat and we drove comfortably there.
Nice stay, it rained a lot and the fireplace leaked. But it was extreme weather conditions.
We spent the night at Strandveld Vineyards Cottages. The accommodation was spacious, tidy and very comfortable. The fireplace/braai was very welcome, as was the wood that was provided! It was a cold and wet day and we were able to relax wonderfully with a nice little fire burning with a glass of wine in hand. Thank you very much for your friendly reception, your accommodation, the wood and the bottle of wine, are appreciated. We had a very nice stay. WiFi wouldn't connect but wasn't important to us.
Very neat accommodation, with all necessities for self-catering. Free bottle of wine on arrival, thank you very much. Nice indoor barbecue with wood. Would recommend and use them again if I have to sleep over in that county.
We cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay! It was absolutely perfect.
The cottage was very quaint and comfortable. The fireplace a bonus in the cold. The very best feature however is the garden and its layout. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful setting and the site is in great condition. The housing is perfect and attention is paid to the smallest detail. Really well done and highly recommend the place. In addition, wine from the farm is highly recommended!
Our stay was for several days and we rested wonderfully. Environment is quiet. Garden is beautiful, took many photos of the bird life. Sufficient wood was available and a surprise was the bottle of wine in the fridge.

Strandveld Vineyards' cottages are exactly what you are looking for to experience that farm feeling. It is beautifully furnished with an old-world farm atmosphere. The free bottle of wine in the fridge was a great surprise! Nice wines to taste and buy on the farm. Beautiful walking trails between the vineyards and a bird lover's dream. Very quiet and safe, and enough wood to enjoy the indoor barbecue.
We were on a bike tour on dirt roads in wind and rain and were welcomed. The Cottages are very nice. The next day the wind was gale force and it rained. The Veldhuisie saved us - three beds and one on the floor on a camp mattress that we carried with us. Sudoku, book reading and good laughs. Thank you very much.
My wife and I really enjoyed the overnight stay at the Strandveld wine farm. We found the wine tasting very interesting, seeing as we come from Stellenbosch, and Strandveld's wines were in a different climate zone. The most beautiful farm that was very tidy. The cottage was spacious and very well equipped - we will definitely come again.
Excellent accommodation with the most beautiful view over the garden, feels like your own home, stylishly furnished and fully equipped, nice walking path on the farm to admire nature and lots of fresh air.
