We were seeking a getaway from the busy city life but not too far from home, and by far Studio on Bordeaux met our need and expectations. Small and intimate yet spacious enough to breathe in fresh air and relax.
Everything you need is there. Location is perfect. We felt nice and safe.

No outside space is not ideal, unless arriving in the evening and leaving early morning. In summer with loadshedding the air con. could not work and we had to go out due to it getting too hot inside.

Due to Level 4 restrictions, our daughter's wedding and reception was postponed and we had to cancel the stay at Studio on Bordeaux. We therefore cannot comment on the safety or cleanliness of the accommodation, but we can say how impressed we were with the accommodatingness of Jeremy when we had to cancel the stay with him. He fully understood our problem and returned our full payment without quibbling or complaining. Jeremy, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Safe environment and with the garage included in the price this is real value for money. Unit was very clean and with our stay being nine nights our linen and towels were changed and the unit cleaned although this is a self-catering facility. We could just phone the owner whenever we needed this to be done. It is close to the Plattekloof Centre (restaurants) and Panorama Hospital with easy access to the N1 freeway.

Studio on Bordeaux is located in a quiet, peaceful area, away from the city noise, the ideal overnight accommodation. Jerry received us very kindly. The complex is modern, extremely neat and comfortably furnished. The kitchen area meets all possible amenities, as does the sleeping area and bathroom. The lock up garage is a plus. We will certainly use this very affordable accommodation again.

We were out of the room for the majority of the time but still find the room comfortable. I will recommend it to my friends as it is close to the hospital and within walking distance from the Plattekloof Spar. I really enjoyed my stay, thank you.

I would recommend adding a handrail to the stairs to the bathroom, especially for older guests.

Access to the room was easy and the lock up garage is a huge bonus. The decor of the room is beautiful and the large TV screen with DStv, as well as free WiFi, is more than a visitor can ask for. The host, Jeremy is friendly and more than helpful. The Studio is located very close to Panorama Hospital, an excellent place to stay for visitors to the hospital. I would recommend Studio on Bordeaux to anyone and would stay there again myself.
We enjoyed the stay very much and would definitely go again but the dog was jumping on the back door so much that we couldn't really sleep late and the roof where the geyser is, needs to be close as there a section open but yes we felt safe.
