Tidy. Very good location. We were welcomed by one of the nicest people ever! We immediately felt welcome. The rooms are very neat and well furnished. The beds also sleep very comfortably. We drove early the next morning and got an incredibly tasty fresh breakfast package to take with us. Excellent service.

After stressful and difficult weather conditions, Sunbird was a safe guest house for us. Everything was perfect and we soon found peace in a lovely garden. The host was very friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful garden with lots of birds and a swimming pool to cool off in. The room was comfortable with a nice view of the garden. The owners were very hospitable and served us a delicious breakfast.

Sunbird Lodge is a beautiful guest house with excellent, neat and extremely clean accommodation (best mattresses we have ever had in a guest house). Dave was a wonderful host who went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our stay and were fully informed about all the facilities in and around Phalaborwa, what the weather forecast was and where to get what. Breakfast was delicious, served in a beautifully decorated, clean and tidy dining room. This is definitely a guest house that every visitor to Phalaborwa can happily consider and that we will definitely use again.
A beautiful and comfortable stay with a lovely breakfast and helpful staff. Make sure that you lock up securely. We unfortunately did not and got robbed of cellphones, jewellery, cash and laptops at 03:00 while sleeping. All our own negligence.
From the friendly reception by the owner, the guided tour of the setup, the quiet atmosphere in the lapa in a bird-rich garden, the clean and comfortable room with enormous bath to the very tasty breakfast of fruit from our own garden, the time was really pleasant.

Sunbird Lodge is very good located near the Phalaborwa gate. The surroundings are beautiful and David was the friendliest host we ever met.

Sunbird is absolutely beautiful - it's a lovely place to stay, and the owner who received us was really friendly and helpful. We asked for breakfast packs, and they were already handed to us the night before, which we greatly appreciated as we wanted to hit the road early. The breakfasts were delicious, fresh and filling.
