Accommodation is provided in 3 safari tents and 2 wooden cabins. There are 2 tents that have double beds as well as a bunk bed and 1 tent has a king-size bed. The 2 log cabins each have a double bed and a bunk bed. The log cabins each have a toilet and basin and there is also a communal ablution block with showers and toilets. There is also an outside shower for those who want to shower underneath the stars. All linen is provided.
There is a swimming pool and a trampoline. Guests can also walk around on the hiking trails and there are various golf courses in the area. Cyclists are also welcome. Music can be played until late and pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

24 guests' feedbackAttend to wasps before ever booking, please. We ended up not using the one room/chalet because the inside bathroom had a full nest of wasps. Oil your cast iron pots after every visit; the rust can cause illness. Otherwise, great place and value for money.
An amazing bush experience with the whole place to ourselves!
Good value for money, accommodation needs some attention here and there but had a very nice stay. Kitchen was well equipped with all the pots and pans people needed to cook for a large group. Would definitely recommend Sundowner Bushcamp.
The fact that there is no cell phone signal was the first reason why we booked our holiday here. It was quality time with the family, and the children enjoyed themselves in the mountains. Everything was at our disposal and there was no reason to leave the camp to go to town soon. It is an extremely beautiful place and very comfortable.
The service is fantastic, Sundowner is a lovely place to go as a group. Everything you need is in the kitchen. I fully recommend it!

Lovely rustic camp with everything you need for a few days in the bush. Rentia is truly a wonderful host and made us feel totally at home. Our whole group voted to 100% return soon! Just book if you looking for a space away from any other humans and where you can truly take a digital detox and experience longer days in nature. Loved our stay!
The children really enjoyed the watering hole. It's a nice getaway camp with friends.
The sundowner staff and owners were very accommodating and helpful. We love the place. Unfortunately, it did rain and if we had known there was a dirt road we would have brought and different vehicle.
I will definitely come back. We were a large group of people at times and a smaller group at other times. There were children on Saturday and everyone enjoyed it.
We were a group of about 12 people who visited Sundowner Bushcamp for the weekend. Sleeping place was clean and comfortable, there is a large braai and recreation area with everything you need. Pool to cool off in and comfortable walking trails. We were kindly received and the service was excellent.
We went with all our children and grandchildren for the weekend. Rentia was friendly and the bush camp met all our expectations. Everyone enjoyed it - we are definitely going again.

We were 2 families with 4 teenagers and 2 80 year old grandmothers. The terrain is not suitable for someone with difficulty walking, and the tents without power plugs, and the lights and plugs that only work with the day/night switch, were inconvenient for us. Otherwise, there was everything we needed for everyone to have a great time.
As a group of friends, we really enjoyed the tranquility in nature and the privacy that the camp offers. The camp is ideal for people who want to get away from the noise and enjoy the silence of nature. We also enjoyed the hiking trails.
Everything about the accommodation was excellent. Tented camps, chalets, bathrooms and showers were enough for our group. The kids enjoyed it a lot and we took beautiful pictures and everyone at home was so amazed. There were enough glasses, cups, plates and even the cooking area was superb. I 200% recommend Sundowner Bushcamp to everyone looking for a beautiful place and at the same time affordable.
The host was very welcoming and exceptionally friendly. Very good place to get away from the city. Well-equipped.
We were very satisfied with the place and with Rentia's service. We had a great time and Sundowner is really well appointed. It has everything you will need and more. The place is clean and tidy and the walk to the water hole is really nice and not too far. Some of the door nets on the tents were stripped, but at least the canvas door worked, so it didn't affect the visit. Even the neighbours' dog who came to visit was nice and she quickly became part of the visit and family. We will definitely visit Sundowner Bushcamp again.

Rentia the owner is a hostess thousand! Came out to greet us, showed us the ropes and shown where the emergency lights are in case of loadshedding. The whole place was very clean and a bonus was the dishes that were washed every morning. The children enjoyed the clearly marked hiking trail. Very private for a wonderful family gathering. Will definitely go again.
